(More customer reviews)CM 2010, which I play on a Mac (A Mac version is available) is probably the better CM releases that I've played, the game play has been revamped to look much better although I think this takes a toll on your memory and the game gets sluggish within about 30-45 minutes of starting it. I need to quit and restart it to make it run smooth but thats not a HUGE inconvenience.
Like other CMs this allows you to take managerial control of a team and help them progress through the ranks. The new 3D game display engine is quite neat and the goals and saves are realistic. The game play isn't as tough as before and you can find your way around within 2-3 games if you are a veteran CM player. New players might take a little while longer but the general intuitiveness of the game helps a lot.
The team training sessions actually help and so do practicing set pieces! Scouting is a major improvement as you can concentrate your scouting resources of selected continents and bring up reasonable results.
All in all, it's quite a good purchase. I'd rate it 4.5 on 5 but because of the general sluggishness of the game and memory hogging, I'll give it a solid 4 on 5.
