(More customer reviews)this controller is a little different from the original. the size is about the same, but some of the button layout has changed somewhat. namely, the select and start button got swapped, so activating Star Power by 'select button' is made much easier.
that 'tilt up' motion senser is still there, so if you prefer to start your star power that way, you can do that too. the 'shake' sensor is supposedly there too, but since i never active power using that to begin with, i didn't bother to check on this feature.
the fret buttons are positioned the same, so ppl with smaller hands could have problems, and playing for long durations still hurt. however i think the buttons are not quite as 'deep' as they were before, and that helps somewhat. hopefully this will also reduce the chance of keys getting stuck later on due to oil/dirt piling ups, but that remains to be seen.
overall, a great product made better, what's not to like? and for 33 bucks, can't beat that price, either.
