Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden Review

Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden

This game is a really good deal for $36.99, the graphics are good-great,
and it has a 3d world to play out the shippuuden, along with amazing graphical animations of major points in the show. It also has a hero mode to play out the original naruto story in a interactive book like way. the multiplayer far succedes the first 3 games, with 50 characters and like 16 feilds to play in. They also added little things that you might not notice but if you do it makes the purchace of this game oh so more satisfiying. My only problem with the game is that it had only a very small sliver of shippuuden in it totaling about 4 1/2 hours and a preshippuuden story (AMAZINGLY GOOD) lasting about 2 1/2 hours of game play. it then has about 10 hours more of things to do missions, collection of peices of memory( for hero mode) ect. all of which have voice acting! putting all of the time it takes to totally enjoy this game and beat it would be about 24 hours so its a really good deal.

if your a naruto addict or a new person to the series,as long as you like RPG's or deul arena's you will like this game.

things that might dissapoint is that the human graphics are lacking, while the back ground is good. and the small number of battle feilds is kinda repetive.

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Review

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven
Average Reviews:

Using the same controls as Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (hurrah)! This is the best game Activision has come up with. This is a maximum recovery over Tenchu II. I really enjoy the ease of controls over the characters. Some games get overly complicated and it detracts from the enjoyment. I also was impressed by the variety in the missions. In previous Tenchu installments, each character played exactly the same missions. You play each mission and win different ratings, special items and new abilities. It has few drawbacks (load time and some awkward camera angles), but this is a mission based game and if you use your controller and special items correctly, all difficulties can easily be overcome. You have 3 characters to pick from. Each has his/her own special missions and each mission has 3 different layouts. The difference between layouts are that enemies are positioned in different arrangements and in different strengths. Favorite character: Tessu. Daytime doctor, nighttime assassin. For some unknown reason, Tessu's attacks include animated x-ray views. It really hurts to see an enemy's neck snap! Ouch! Hoping to see more of Tessu in future Tenchu games. Rikkimaru has 2 varying outcomes. They depend upon choices you make mid-game. Ayame is the most agile. Her assignments are a bit tougher, but she is definitely a capable character.
So, if you are into sneaking and you get a satisfying feeling from taking out aggressions against some more than deserving foes, THIS IS THE GAME TO GET!! I rate it as best mission based game ever.

Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2 Review

Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2
Average Reviews:

I am a novice gamer so personally, I enjoyed the first Uzumaki Chronicles. I was challenged in the first one and expecting much more from the second installment. It is true that Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2 was much better than the first. The story is original, yet fitting, the music is better and more varied, and there are more characters to play.

The story starts with the Sand Ninja Kankuro and his puppets. He tells Naruto about a puppet wielding clan, the Shirogane Clan and their quest to gather the Spirit Orbs. It's up to you, Naruto, and your friends to unravel the mystery of the clan and the "puppetwalkers" & why they crave wanting the Spirit Orbs so bad.

The fact that you and a friend can play together is a plus. Like any game, it has it's bosses that can be tough. Too tough in fact, so you may need to go with a strategy guide. This game will appeal to all Naruto fans. The cut scenes and the graphics are improved form the first, but still a bit choppy. I guess it's a PS2 thing. The fighting is definitely better and not as predictable or repetitive as the first one. I loved the skill plate system in the first one and it returns here. If you are not an experienced super gamer, but a Naruto, fan this is right up your alley.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes Review

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes isn't, essentially, a simplified version of Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 as reviewers over the internet have been reporting. Sure, it has levels from that game and, in someways, is similar to it but there is enough things different in it to make it its' own game.First and foremost, it has team-based battles which is a welcome changeup from what is normal to the Ultimate Ninja games. Depending on what combinations of characters you use, special team-based skills can be had. There's new animations for your characters' special techniques & whatnot. You can battle your friends wirelessly anytime or anywhere you like.

There's a downside to the game, though. The load times for the game are a smidgen long(that is, if you're the anxious type that wants to get right in there & fight- they last ten to fifteen seconds long. I've seen longer with other games, like Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition & Mortal Kombat Unchained. To me, it is tolerable.). There's no story to speak of(unlike the Japanese game that was released last year in Japan, which was loaded with RPG-esque material). The gameplay, although easier to grasp, pretty much relies on one button. Depending on which way you push on the directional pad when pushing the button results in tweaking or modifying your move of attack.

Overall, CyberConnect2 delivers a satisfying Naruto fighting experience on the PSP. In some ways, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes is a more blisteringly intense game than its' PS2 bretheren. Not only that, it looks absolutely awesome on the PSP.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 Review

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We're finally treated to the third game in the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series on the PS2 in as many years and, boy, is it something. There over 40 playable characters in the game with an option to choose between English and Japanese VO. You can customize your characters with whichever ultimate jutsu you choose, you'll be able to turn some of your favorite characters into more powerful ninja and summon giant creatures as allies to help you in battle, interact with characters residing in the leaf village and accomplish over 55 missions in Ultimate Contest mode, engage in battle royale matches in 20 unique stages using either close combat or ranged weapons. The game itself takes place up to the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. It's definitely a bigger monster to contend with this time around.

Ultimate Contest is the biggest part of UN3 wherein a festival is thrown together by Lady Tsunade for the sake of visitors from the hidden village of Sand. The main event is a battle royal in which each ninja gets a crystal. When ninja fight, the winner gets the loser's crystals. The two who finish with the most crystals get to battle for the right to create a new Hidden Leaf Village regulation. You run around Hidden Leaf Village completing simple quests and challenging other characters to fights, which is somewhat similar to the game Naruto Rise of a Ninja(although UN3 came out long before that game did in Japan so, technically, it thought of the idea first). There are also a handful of minigames you'll be asked to compete in as well.

The game has top-notch production values. The graphics look simply stunning in this game(sometimes making you wonder if this isn't a PS3 game).

There isn't much that can be said bad about this game. Note, much that can be said. Meaning there is a few things that isn't so good. My biggest gripe with the game is the unlockables. Most of them are nothing you hadn't unlocked before in the previous games & that, to me, is disappointing. At least, they should give us a some new content to unlock to make it all the more pleasing to play.

Overall, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 is a game all Naruto fans should get. It's definitely the best of the series thus far. I'm not sure casual fans would be interested, honestly, not unless they're into anime & manga.

Sadly, I hear this is the last game in the series for the PS2. The series is moving onto the PS3. I do hope & pray they give it alot bigger scope on the system and continue its' success with newer and better content. PSP owners can rejoice, though, as a new game is on the way for the PSP. Look for my review when it hits the shelves.

Naruto: The Broken Bond Review

Naruto: The Broken Bond
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Given how totally awesome Rise of a Ninja was, I was eagerly anticipating this game. There are some changes in this here sequel tho'...and I gotta say, not all of them are good. However like it's predecessor, for Naruto fans it's still a big slice of ninja heaven.

Honestly this one is not as well thought out as the last one was. While Rise of Ninja was literally the "Best Way to Make a Game Out of the First 80 episodes of Naruto"... there are some things about Broken Bond that I could have lived without. This still falls into the category of a "Must Own for Any Self-Respecting Naruto Fan," but it's not as flawless as the pervious offering.

But there is some new stuff that's good. For instance you are given the opportunity of using more characters for the main quest instead of just Naruto. Which makes sense given the story, and makes things more interesting in both the quest and fighting gameplay. The fighting controls also seem to feel a bit less stiff. Also, they straight up give you the option of playing the game with the Japanese voice cast, which apparently for some people higher up on the Otaku Nerd food chain than myself is an absolute necessity. The basic mechanics of utilizing Jutsu to progress through the game, etc are still the same (which is good).

My main beef with this game is this:

In Rise of a Ninja each mission was different and was planned to help advance the story. With Broken Bond each mission is just a fetch quest with some fighting. And it's crazy repetitive. And after a while it gets kind of annoying. Like to the point where the word "insipid" isn't too far off. The context of earning the respect of the Hidden Leaf villagers helped to answer the question of "Why Am I Doing This Again?" in Rise of a Ninja. You're going to be asking yourself that question a lot more in Broken Bond...and most of the time your just not going to get an answer.

Additionally, they broke from using the actual series animation in some of the cut scenes. Some folks might like that better. I didn't. While the graphics engine makes for a great visual representation of the series animation - I wasn't feeling it cut scene wise. That's just me.

That aside, this is still a great game. All of the goodness from the 60 or so episodes from the second part of the series is in there. The epic battles are still awesome, graphics are still great, and when the game isn't making you backtrack for some inane fetch quest - it's fun-as-all-git-out.

While I recommended buying an Xbox 360 just to play Rise of the Ninja, or playing it even if you aren't a Naruto fan - I wouldn't make the same suggestions with this game. If you own an Xbox 360 and are a Naruto fan, then yes, you should totally own this.

All and all this is still a great Naruto game.

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja Review

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja

Nintendo and Sony have seen their fair share of Naruto games on, both, console & handheld so it's nice to see Microsoft getting some of that love now. To be honest, it's one of the reasons I bought an Xbox 360(the other being the game Blue Dragon). Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is one of the most stunning games I've seen on the system. Everything in the Naruto universe is so richly detailed. At times, it's breathtaking.

While I was looking forward to an all-new experience with the game(like the completely original storyline in Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2), Rise of a Ninja plays it safe and follows the first season of the anime starting with the tale of the Nine-tailed Fox and how it could have destroyed Konoha Village were it not for the efforts of the Fourth Hokage who trapped the demon within the body of a young child whom we all know as Naruto.

Most of the game and it's playstyle is nothing that Naruto vets haven't seen before. Yet, one thing that sets it apart from the rest is its' fighting system. To perform your jutsu, you have to do a series of hand gestures like they do in the anime(by using a series of thumb gestures on the Xbox 360's analog sticks) to execute them. The fighting can get downright intense at times but, considering the lack of opponents & the variety of them to face in the game, it left me wanting more. Although using your jutsu to accomplish certain tasks in the game proves to be quite fun.

Considering this is the first American made Naruto game, I think the fine folks that developed the game did an excellent job. One that Japanese developers should take note of and implement into future Naruto titles. This is, definitely, a title all Xbox 360 owners should add to their library. Believe it!

With this great game, you can unleash your ninja wrath on your friends or the computer with all new characters and in all new stages! It's quite a great change from the first game! You should really go and pick it up if you're a fan, and at least try it out if you don't know about the Naruto series.

The graphics are really nice and they fit quite well because of the anime series. The voiceovers are nicely done too, and you'll even be able to recognize Naruto's Believe it in the game! Do not forget that the game contains a lot of hidden features that will unlock over time, like videos, sound clips, audio clips, characters, and much much more! The sound fits with the stages and the mood in harmony, the characters all have their move and specials, which means each one of them can be tricky in certain situation. The basics are simple and you get to grasp the controls quite quickly. Around half an hour is what you need to get the hang of it.

The game overall is great, everything in it falls perfectly into place, you'll like the game even more if you're a fan, but still, everyone should enjoy it! ^^

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Review

I played this on the Xbox a while ago and thought this was an excellent game and there wasn't much room for improvement.

So far I've played this for a few hours and must say this game is DEFINATELY worth playing again. New levels, new bosses, new weapons, new scenery. But you probably knew all this already.

The biggest difference, at least to me, is the controls. They were excellent on Xbox, but this is WAY better. NG Black had a few frustrating jump sequences because camera would sometimes lose the perspective of the place you needed to see. This seems like it's been imporved a great deal. Because of tighter controls, action feels much faster, but at the same time easily manageable.

16:9 screen format is also a big improvement, since now it's not as easy for enemies to sneak up on you.

Wether you played this before or you are new to NG, or for that matter PS3 - this is the one to have. It's a difficult and lenghty game, but it's one of the best games I ever played (and I've played many since the original Atari)

This is my 2nd favorite PS2 Game ever (the first being One Piece Grand Battle) You can play as 14 characters, and you have more variety than in Clash of Ninja. I like Ultimate Ninja better.

Unlocked Characters:

Naruto Uzumaki
Sasuke Uchiha
Sakura Haruno
Kakashi Hatake
Rock Lee
Shikamaru Nara

Locked Characters:

Neji Hyuga
Hinata Hyuga
Haku
Zabuza Momochi
Gaara
Orochimaru
Cursed Marked Sasuke
Kyubi Naruto

There are also 12 different stages. (did I mention you can switch mid-combat?)

Each character have multilevel super attacks with different strengths that can eliminate more than half of an enemy's life bar in a single maneuver.

Overall, this is a very good game.

Naruto Shipuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 Review

Naruto Shipuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 continues the tradition of Cyber Connect 2's dedication to the Naruto series with the release of Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 on the PSP.Unlike other releases, this game sets its self apart by having a cast of around 50 or so playable characters from the Naruto Shippuden universe, and goes beyond the Rescue Gaara arc of Shippuden.I wont say how far along in the story it goes but lets just it covers a substantial amount of ground. The game even features a Sasuke specific storyline, so some fanservice has been included.

The game features a variety of missions types, most are fight centric with various objectives needed to be done (for example, winning with a ninjutsu, or finishing in awakening mode).Others are more of the enemies have high attack power.Though the game incorporates tactics, in which you can purchase and use the same boosts in battle, such as higher jumping ability, or all allies have high attack. The game allows for four players to battle at once as well (and these are incorporated into story mode too).

Presentation wise, the game looks nice and uses clips from the anime to tell the story.A few parts of the story have been omitted in order to streamline the experience, so you wont see everything that we have seen in past Shippuden games (basically every single battle in the Gaara arc isnt included). The English voice actors return and you can choose Japanese voices.Graphically the game is lush and pretty. There is some cel-shading used in the ultimate jutsus which does the attacks justice. The music sounds reminiscent of that which we heard in Ultimate Ninja Storm for the PS3 (same flutes and other instruments), sounds very Naruto-like.On the stages where you run and such, there are some framerate slips but they arent that noticeable and there are some jagged lines then, but otherwise nothing to tarnish the fun.You have to be a stickler for graphics to point it out.

Ultimately, this is the ideal Naruto game to get on the PSP for the Shippuden story as it has a huge cast of characters, tons of ninjutsu's, and covers the Shippuden storyline, it is the definitive Naruto experience on the PSP.

Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 Review

Naruto Clash of Ninja 2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 features the same voice actors as in the cartoon show dub. You can immerse yourself in the Naruto world in this fighting game.

The graphics are cel shaded and 3D, integrating well into the traditional Naruto style landscapes. The voices are the same as the cartoon series' dub - which you can either really appreciate, because you love the series in English - or which you can really be annoyed by, because the characters constantly mis-pronounce many simple Japanese names.

Where many cartoon fighting games are extremely easy, this one actually has some challenge to it. There are multiple characters, and you can have up to 4 people on the screen at any given time. The combos for a given character can be relatively tricky.

All of the characters are supposed to know the basic ninja techniques that they have learned in their training. However, for some reason, only certain characters can use certain basic moves, all depending on which happened to use that move in an episode. It would have been more realistic and interesting if everyone knew the basic moves but then differed on advanced moves.

The arenas you fight in are interesting - there are temples, outdoor areas, and other environments. The backgrounds are slightly animated, with crowds of cheering people going through the same one-second-long loop continuously. However, they aren't as advanced as most other fighting games out right now. You can't interact with your environment, you can't move from area to area or watch weather or movement of the world you're in. A lot of this is because of the GameCube's inherent limitations, but it does stand out when you've been playing other fighting games on other systems.

I found several of the comments made by certain characters to be incredibly repetitive. It was fine the first time, or the tenth time ... but after 100 times of hearing the exact same statement, it wears on you. It's also a little odd that the main menu shows Sakura (a female) looking at you, but all of the voice you hear is Naruto (a male).

Still, for Naruto fans who have a GameCube at home, this is a great way to immerse yourself in the Naruto world and enjoy it for hours on end. There are numerous characters, lots of battles to play and replay, and a variety of ways to upgrade while you learn all of the combos. As a small bonus, you get a collectable card as part of the set.

Well recommended for Naruto fans.

I've been waiting for this game for a while and this game was near impossible to find, but I finally found a copy and got to play for the first time last night. It follows the along the same model of the original The Way of the Samurai. There are tons of swords and fighting styles, that will keep you enthralled for hours upon hours, and once you find that certain sword/style that fits you, you can learn new techniques and level the sword so you can become the ultimate assassin, protector, or just plain ole bad a**. This game is full of action around every turn, and the best concept is that you can choose which path you want to take, if you want to become a rich samurai you can join the fujimori clan, or you can be a sole wanderer a ronin,or you can protect the citizens of a poor city who are being heavily taxed, or you can plot against the fujimori clan and join the ouika clan who are a bunch of thieves and robbers, and the beauty of it is it's all up to you which path you choose. The fighting in this game is superb, depending on which sword you use that is the fighting style used, or you can fight bare handed which is pretty fun as well.I thoroughly enjoyed and am still enjoying this game, if this game sounds like something you might like, or if your like me, I really enjoy old samurai movies especially Akira Kurosawa films, you'll love this game. One of my favorite things about this game is one of the faces you can choose for your samurai looks almost exactly like Toshiro Mifune. In all I give this game a 5 out of 5.Maybe more, this is possibly one of my favorite games of the year.

Ninja Gaiden Black Review

Ninja Gaiden Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Team Ninja has made what has been one of the best games on the XBox even better. As impossible as that sounds, it's true. But, if you've never played Ninja Gaiden before, this may not be the game for you. It CAN be frustrating. I just beat Ninja Gaiden Black on the Hard level and let me tell you, it was aggravating but oh so sweet to have beat it on hard.

If you've played the original Ninja Gaiden for XBox, this includes the Hurricane Packs plus a new mission mode that is tough as nails! However, gone are the three NES games. They have been replaced with the original arcade version of Ninja Gaiden, so if you want to keep playing the 3 NES games, you'd better hold onto your original copy of Ninja Gaiden. Still, for the reduced price NJB comes at, it's worth having both!

Ninja Gaiden is NOT a game for everyone. If you are easily frustrated by games that dump loads of enemies on you that are tough to defeat, I suggest you look elsewhere. But, if you enjoy challenges with some of the most awesome boss characters ever to grace your TV screen, fast and furious action, and an arsenal of weapons that would make any ninja shed a tear of joy, then it's time to get your ninja skills in check and play NJB.

First off, the graphics - 5/5
The animation is top notch. I have never seen characters move so fluidly like they do in Ninja Gaiden. Ryu and the enemies move almost so realistically, it's scary. Ryu's ninja suite even has fabric that sways as you walk and moves with the wind. This hasn't changed since the previous version but it's STILL excellent. There is not a single frame rate studder in here, and when you see the huge dino-skeleton boss, you won't believe that they were able to pull this off with no frame rate slow down.

Sound - 5/5
Breathtaking! The music, the sound FX, everything just sets the mood in this game. What else can be said? You HAVE to have a 5.1 system which pumps out the bass with this game. My wife has told me to turn it down a notch or two sometimes.

Storyline - 5/5
Pretty intriguing. The FMVs are awesome. Team Ninja (like in DoA) has done an excellent job with the FMVs on this one as well. They blend in well with the gameplay and really add to the story. Team Ninja has also added new cut scenes that help flesh out the story even more and now you know who kept throwing those information stars at you throughout the game! For the original game, I rated this a 4 out 5. Due to the new cut scenes, I've upped it to 5 out of 5!

Gameplay - 5/5
For me, the gameplay is excellent. For others, it's going to be a sticking point. Believe me, this game is HARD! Not hard, but HARD as in SICK!!! And that's on the normal level! But, to let you know, this is not a button masher. I think that's where the problem resides for some people. People expect to just mash buttons and eventually win. No, you have to learn all the different moves that can be applied to a particular weapon and when to use those moves. The nunchucks are awesome, but the flail weapon (nunchucks with blades) is nasty, especially when you can get a 25+ hit combo going with it. I've even gotten up to 100 hits with it against an arsenal of demons. Again, it's learning each of the weapons strengths and weaknesses and when to use them that will help you progress in this game. The addition of the Hurricane Packs that were previously downloadable for the original NG, gives you one of the most ultimate weapons - the Lunar Staff. This thing is sick. The combos it can release are fast and far reaching. Get the Hurricane move going and Ryu is invincibile! Also added are Smoke Bombs. Drop one of these in the midst of a bunch of enemies and blind them temporarily so you can unleash a nasty combo attack and watch the body parts fly!

When an enemy is defeated, it will give off one of three "essence" globes:

- yellow for experience and money (you use these to upgrade weapons and purchase items)

- blue for healing

- red for ninpo (magic)

But, instead of just picking these up immediately, hold down on your massive attack button to absorb the essence floating around and watch the blade fly as Ryu goes into overdrive and hacks and slashes for you. Depending on the amount of essence you've picked up, it can result in some major damage to the enemy and then it releases even BIGGER amounts of essence, resulting in more "money". This allows you to buy things to such as weapons, healing potions, and items to expand your life bar as well as your ninpo magic levels. Underneath all of this is an RPG-type system. But, rather than increasing stats such as strength, charisma, etc, you increase your health and ninpo bar (HP and Magic points for you role playing hounds), and upgrade the strength of your weapons, which unlocks more combos and special moves. It's a wonderful twist on the RPG model that makes for an awesome game and upgrade system that doesn't seemed "forced" or old.

Enemies are abundant in supply and each chapter brings in a new set of enemies, much harder than the ones before. Demons, soldiers, mummies, bats, it's got it all in this game. But, that's not all. Many of the boss characters have been beefed up with harder skills to defeat as well as minions to help out. You thought Alma was tough in the first round? You haven't seen anything yet!

Other Extras - 5/5
Well, Tema Ninja has outdone themselves once again. This time around, you can unlock the original Ninja Gaiden arcade game. Also, costumes for Ryu can be unlocked and now there are 50 new missions to battle through along with the story-line mode.

After completing the game, you can upload your Karma scores to compare with other players from around the world. Think your NG skills don't stink? Upload them and make sure!

If you have a completed game from the previous version of NG, you will automatically unlock the Hard mode so you don't have to play through the Normal mode. But, I must warn you. I've played this level and it was unreal at times, especially Alma. I hate to think what Ultimate Ninja mode is like, if I ever get to that point! OUCH!

If you die enough times, you can unlock the Ninja Dog level. But, do you really want to be classified as a wimp? Ayane will really dig into you, basically stating she over estimated your skills, and if you really need it, she'll hold your hand for you. Plus, you'll have to walk around with a pink ribbon on your arm. Are you sure you want to do that?

On Ninja Dog mode, the enemey's skill don't decrease, but they will not have as much health as on normal mode, and you will find more health items lying around to help you. It's your choice - Ninja Dog or Master Ninja. Choose your destiny!

This is THE premiere fighting/adventure/ninja game out there. If you want to show off how well an Xbox game can still look and sound in the pre-dawn era of the next-gen consoles, this is the game to do it with.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Review

This game is a great indicator to how well naruto is actually coming along in video games. With each one i play they get more and more right making the games better and better. That isn't to say there isn't and flaws in the game, cause their are. Some of the characters are op or "overpowered" and dont really make the matches very fun. With an online game where people try to have fun and be competitive, balance is something that needs to be a top priority. This game does alright with balance, but as i said before there are a few characters that are just way to strong, and as a consequence are used extremely often in online matches to get an easy win.

The story is something that blew me away the most. How they capture it and make it interactive enough to where it doesnt feel like you are just watching the show, but keeping the depth of the story great enough to where you actually feel like you are making a difference and are part of the world is just amazing. I wont spoil the fight but there is one in particular where you change mid fight to a memory like state and the effects they use to capture it are just crazy. None of the story chapters take to long, and the boring stuff is kept to a minimal amount.

This game is not perfect, but it is leaps and bounds better than the last few, and if they take this and improve upon it in the next then we are in for one amazing series of games.

Ninja Gaiden Review

Before this game was released I was somewhat looking forward to it, but not with a great interest. Well thats until I actually played it. Thefirst thing to blow me away were the graphics. They are absolutely breathtaking. TheCG movies, the in game graphics, special effects, just amazing. But the game isn't all graphics and no gameplay. Believe it or not, the gameplay is actually better than the graphics. You can do everything you've seen ninjas do in movies. Swinging, climbing, wall running and of course slashing peoples limbs off. And it all just looks so real. The moves and weapons are also fantastic. Some of the coolest moves I've seen in any game for awhile. They are also easyfor beginners, but hardcore gamers can spend alot of time on perfecting them. The stages are very varied and very large, the sound is nice and the enemies and weapons are also very varied. One problem that many people may have is the game's difficulty. It is very hard. The first boss, for example, is exceptionally difficult. If you persist, however, you will be greatly rewarded.
