Hannah Montana House Song Writing Swing Set with Hannah Doll Review

This was a good purchase. My daughter loves Hannah Montana and she loved the accessories that come with it. The doll was a little on the tall side in comparison to the swing chair, so it was a little difficult to get her to sit in it at first. I bought this about a month ago, and my daughter still plays with this doll almost every day

The Warriors Review

What do you get when you take Walter Hill's 1979 cult classic the Warriors and combine it with the folks behind the controversial Grand Theft Auto series? You get this PS2 beat 'em up masterwork from Rockstar, that's what. The Warriors is a brutal, intense, and above all fun and addicting, video game that must be played to be believed. You don't need to be familiar with the film to get into the game, as it is easily accessible for anyone looking for some great beat 'em up action. The game begins months before the murder of gang leader Cyrus, and you must fight, maim, abd rob to achieve the street cred needed to be a true Warrior. And, as mentioned before, this game is a pure beat 'em up, but unlike other games of the genre, it rarely gets repetitive or boring.Throughout the game, you'll also get to collect protection money, looting shops, and being involved in chases with rival gangs. The enemy AI is actually challenging, but there are some spots where the Warriors does come up a bit short. There are situations in the game where stealth will need to be relied on, and it isn't utilized here well at all, but it's not too big of an issue. The graphics aren't anything special either, and there are plenty of noticeable graphical glitches throughout the game, but they don't detract from the gameplay. The controls are relatively easy to get ahold of, and the sound and score are excellent throughout. The dialogue (which features many of the film's returning cast members) and story aren't for the faint hearted (and that is to be expected with a game of this type), but it perfectly fits the tone of the film and gives the game an intense "kill or be killed" atmosphere. All in all, fans of the film will no doubt love this game, but for those who never saw the Warriors but enjoy games like the GTA series or Max Payne, it is still suggested to pick this game up, because it is highly unlikely you'll play a better beat 'em up on the market today or in the future.

I hadn't seen anybody else talking about the 360, so i thought i'd add this. This game is compatible with the 360 and it is awsome! The black and white buttons on the xbox map to the "bumpers" on the 360, so all works quite well. This game is one of the most addictive games i've ever played. I highly recommend it for adults and mature teens who are already desensitised to gangs and violence.

Grand Theft Auto Double Pack: Grand Theft Auto III / Grand Theft Auto Vice City Review

Grand Theft Auto Double Pack: Grand Theft Auto III / Grand Theft Auto Vice City
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ok first off, for those who don't know, this is a double pack. It contains two games, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto : Vice City. Secondly, they are absolute classics. They have changed the face of gaming and have cause enough controversy to put Eminem to shame, although half of the controversy is blown up by ignorant people who have never played the game. Now the reason I have an un-biased opinion is because I own both, a PS2, and an XBOX. I also had both of these games. The other day though, I traded both of them to a friend because I was so impressed with this version of the game I had to buy it. I thought the XBOX version was going to be exactly the same. Little did I know, it is not. There is a HUGE difference in the graphics. I didn't think I would care, but it really just brings the experience to a whole other level. The characters are just SO much detailed. The graphics on the buildings look alot more realistic and the cars actualy shine. One big complain people had with the PS2 version was that when you were driving down the road, cars would suddenly appear out of nowhere and you would crash. This has definetly been fixed for the XBOX. You can see way down the road, with no problems. The graphical differences are amazing. Another exclusive feature is the custom soundtrack. You can burn your CD's to the XBOX harddrive and play them on the radio in the cars. Just imagine cruising down the streets of Liberty City (aKa NYC), blazing Dr. Dre's "Still DRE". Or speeding down Vice City's (aKa Miami) beaches, blaring Rage Against The Machine's "Calm Like A Bomb". This also makes it a completely different, and better, experience. There are no other extra features besides these, no extra missions,levels,cars,weapons... but there shouldn't be. These are amazing, classic games that every gamer should own. But if you have the choice, buy this version. The improvements really make the difference. As Time magazine says, "Grand Theft Auto 3 is a national obsession, its sequel borders on something more...art."

Smuggler's Run Review

Smuggler's Run
Average Reviews:

I am 47 years old. This is only the second review I've writen to Amazon. ... I bought 8 games the first day, including Ridge Racer 5, DOA2, Madden 2001, SSX, Kessen, and Unreal Tournament. They are all awsome games in their own right, and so is the PS2 system in most ways. I like many genre of intertainment. But I love this game. So does a 31 year old friend who played it alone for 5 hours at my house. I played it for over twice that time (making myself late for work one day). There are, as the gamers review points out, many variables and choices to the 4 game modesavailable, from going head-to-head, to a free roaming mode where you are free to just go off-roading in a 5 mile square of either forest, desert, or mountain snow (it's the same territory as the forest with entirely new techniques). I had fun knocking cars, trucks and RVs into the forest river while in the free roaming mode, while a friend of mine found out that he could go into an eternal free-fall by scaling up the snow-frozen waterfall and driving off the mountain edge of the map.All the vehicles (10 or so) have different handling algorithms and it's fun to watch your car's body parts fly off as you rip through border patrol cars or hit a deep gulley. Driving skills are a must to advance to the highest levels, as well as familiarity with the areas, and some expiriance with gravity effects in the game. The Border Patrol officials get tougher as you progess, attempting to bulldoze you over and trap you for an arrest ('Crazy Taxi' goals, only with cops to stop you!). The mode where you are a member of a team and competing with another team to steal the most contraband from a crashed plane, ect. is fun in a second way, because you're stealing stuff from the other guys as a team (kinda like soccer, only you really SOCK 'em). I also have a Dreamcast (another fun machine), but I've not found anywhere, a better game. Even the kids (7 to 12, boys AND GIRLS) found this game both fun and addictive. This game is truly a good buy, and for a first generation game, hits the limits of displaying the known processing power of the system. But again, the bottom line is it's fun.

Table Tennis Review

Table Tennis
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
If I told you a year ago when the Xbox 360 was being finalized and games were starting to be talked about, that Rockstar was supporting the system, what's the first thing you'd think of??Grand Theft Auto? Midnight Club? The Warriors? Sure, something like that. But then what if I told you in March that the first game Rockstar (keep in mind we're talking about Rockstar here) was going to put out on the Xbox 360 was Table Tennis (better known as PING-PONG!! in the US), would you have believed me? My very first reaction to that news was, "What, are they putting it out on Xbox Live Arcade??"I mean, seriously; Table Tennis?? From the guys that make rated M games? Were they serious? Was this a joke? The answer to those questions in order was:No, yes, yes, yes, and no.In fact, Rockstar Games was so serious about this game they really marketed it on the net and in game magazines. They were dead serious about it. And when you play Rockstar's Table Tennis, you'll see that too. While it's not a system seller, or a game that is going to revolutionize the sports genre, Table Tennis is not only solid, but authentic! This isn't an Xbox Live Arcade level game. And it's on shelves for $39.99, which is a relief from the usual $59.99 games. The question I pose is this: Is a Table Tennis game worth even a discounted price of $40?Well, Rockstar makes a heck of a case for it with a very solid game. And no, you're not playing against hookers, and armed Mafia gunmen aren't going to jump out from the stands with machine guns and start shooting at you. It's just Table Tennis.

Ok, some quick basics about Rockstar's Table Tennis. The game modes here unfortunately are pretty bare, and that has a little bit of impact on the game overall, but not a lot. There are 11 playable characters in the game; 7 men, 4 women. They come from all around the world; Japan, Germany, USA, Sweden, Brazil, and more. Each player has their own distinctive attributes and gameplay. Some are faster than others, some more powerful, some with more spin they can put on the ball.Who you choose to play with can be as important as the gameplay itself. There are only a couple of players at the beginning to chose from, and the rest you unlock by playing through the game.It seems like you unlock characters based on winning total number of games, but you also unlock them through playing offline tournaments. There are three tournaments to play with different difficulties. There is also an exhibition mode with three levels of difficulty. There's no create-a-player, nor is there a career mode; two things that a game like this should absolutely have.

There is some basic online play as well, and that's a given now with Xbox 360 games. And this game makes use of the 360's Spectator mode in it's "Table Tennis Network".In fact, you get achievement points for watching a match online. Then of course you have your ranked and non-ranked matches. The only problem with playing online is that there is no lobby system.Once you're game is done you're thrown back into the main area where you have to look for another game, or wait for another invite if you want to play the same person. You should have the ability to keep the room open to play another match. But that's minor.

What is amazing about Table Tennis is it's complete attention to the detail of the actual game.I played a lot of ping-pong in college.I am in no way, shape, or form, an expert or a tournament player.I played a lot for fun.But I did learn how to put spin on the ball, how to make drop shots, and how to take a step back from the table in order to really fire up my volleys. So I felt like I was a little more more than just a casual player. So I recognize the authenticity of Rockstar's physics engine they put in this game to make it feel and play realistic. In fact, I have to say this really is as authentic a game in regards to ball physics that I think I've ever seen. It's one of the reasons I am highly hooked on the game.Table Tennis as a sport is all about power and spin.In order for a player to dominate his opponent in Table Tennis, they have to master being able to put high amounts of spin on the ball so that when the ball hits the table it veers in that direction so sharply that the opponent either mis-places his paddle to where he can't effectively return the ball, or with the addition of power, simply can't react fast enough to get the paddle to the ball. The better your accuracy on the table, and the better your spin ability is, the better player you are going to be.It's a small table, but it's a big game. And I can't stress enough how impressed I am in the way Rockstar was able to capture that. The reality is that no volley will ever truly be the same. Just like in real life, you can place that shot that just grazes the table so that it still counts, but it never actually bounces. And yes, you can even hit the net with so much power and spin that a sure dead ball would actually "scoot" over and bounce on your opponent's side.I've seen that a couple times. But everything about the real sport is here, including high speed volleys, overhand slams, side-of-the-table saves, pop-ups, and every once in a blue moon a headfirst dive. That doesn't happen often.

The other thing that Rockstar did very well with their Table Tennis game was make the controls super-easy to learn, but challenging to master. And they give you two ways to play;letting you really pick your own style.Much like a regular Tennis video game, buttons have different shot types. With Table Tennis it's all about spin, and the amount of spin and power you want to put on the ball. You have topspin, backspin, leftspin, and rightspin.I am assuming I don't have to explain to you what each does?I'll say this, if you want the ball to slow down when it hits the opponents side, you use backspin. If you want to hit a real power shot, use topspin. So, you can do one of two things here. Each face button controls a spin, and if you look at the face buttons, you'll be able to tell which does what (A is backspin, Y is topspin, etc:).OR, you can use the right analog stick in the direction of the spin you want to put on the ball (up for top, down for back, etc:). As you might imagine, using the right stick is more challenging than the face buttons. But for some reason for me it seems more natural.I used them both, and I just preferred to use the stick. It just feels right. But you have the choice. Now the left stick moves your player around the table, but you also use the left stick to aim your shot. The longer you hold the spin stick or button, the more your ball will react in that direction; like pre-loading your shot. While you're doing that, using the left stick will stop your players movement and aims your ball. The longer you hold the left stick for aiming, the closer to the edge of the table you'll go.But too much and you'll hit the ball out of bounds or into the net; so be careful. If you're looking for a safe shot, simply don't use the left stick at all.

What makes Table Tennis so fun is that you get to focus on the table itself, and not running all over a court trying to return a ball. For the most part, you don't move a whole lot in the game; you stay fairly centric to the table. But when the time is right, you will begin to move your player around a little, getting into a corner, or stepping back to play longer volleys. And sometimes it's to play defensive as well when you have to go get a shot. But when you get to a point where you have to move around a lot and you want to sort of calm the game down a bit, or if you want to get that little extra oopmh in there to get your opponent out of position for a killshot, there are some extra controls you can use.The left bumper gives you a nice soft drop shot that has no spin, and no power. It's just designed to easily get the ball over the net so you can race back into your main position. It helps if it looks like you're about to get crushed. And if your opponent is far back from the table, dropping the ball in there could catch them off-guard and unable to return the ball. Now for the opposite when you want to get that little extra spin or power on the ball to maybe force your opponent to cover a deep corner, or do have to as I like to call "Tron Disc Block" the ball (holding the paddle like a shield) which can pop the ball up into the air for you to slam down, the right bumper is a focus shot. And with a focus shot you have a focus meter. The better you play and the longer your volleys, the more your focus meter fills. As you use focus shots, the meter depletes of course. If you are totally in focus and your focus meter starts to flash, you can get into a "full-focus" mode, where all your shots temporarily have that little extra spin and power to them. And your player will react a little faster as well.If you really want to see something cool, watch what happens when both you and your opponent go into full-focus mode. It's like the tournament scene in Forrest Gump. The screen around you gets dark and the crowd noise silences. All you see is the table, ball, and your opponent; and all you hear is the sound of the ball hitting the table and paddles.First one to flinch!

Now, I only have one complaint about the gameplay, and that is the computer AI.One would think with the power of the Xbox 360, AI in a sports game would improve. Not so here.I don't mind a competitive computer opponent.I can't always jump online, and if I want to get my achievements and Gamerscore points, I have to play the offline tourneys. But why is it that in every sports game, at some point the computer just decides enough is enough, and totally obliterates you?I could be playing the medium tournament and come up against...Read more›

Bully Review

Bully
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bully may very well be one of the most controversial games of all time simply based on the fact that Rockstar made it.With only a name to their game, it was turning heads.People feared the worst.Mostly that the game would be as violent as Grand Theft Auto, but in a high school setting.

Let me set some minds at ease. There are no guns. The game doesn't even have any blood. Also, you can't kill anyone.Lastly, violence is rather discouraged.

You do not play the Bully.Instead you assume the role of Jimmy Hopkins, a boy trying to survive at Bullworth Academy. He's basically your run of the mill student. Your task inside the school is the same as they are for just about every student in high school. Pass your classes and stay out of trouble. Going to class actually is enforced for a time. Your classes are mini-games that you'll play. You're allowed to try and ditch class but there are consequences for not going. However, in this game you'll want to go to class just because participating in said class is actually fun, and can improve your skills. The mini games are fun and addictive. After a while it's no longer enforced, which I actually found rather sad. The aspect of going to class doesn't get nearly enough attention, but the mechanic works.

Outside of class, however, is where the game really begins to shine. If you're familiar with the gameplay of Grand Theft Auto, then you'll easily adapt to Bully. For starters, each and every student at Bullworth Academy has a unique personality. You'll make friends and you'll make enemies. The missions are fun and quite an experience. The game is original. Even better, the story sequences are filled to the brim with humor, quite simply it's one of the funniest games I've played.

In addition, you can also venture outside of the school. Jimmy can get a job to help him buy food and other things, and he's able to help people around town do some of their errands and chores as well. You'll also be able to date, go play some arcade games and plenty more. All the things most high school students do.

Jimmy isn't without a mischief. He's got a slingshot, a bat and a few other things he can use. Again, you can't kill anyone with these things, and eventually the objects will break anyway.Besides, if you beat up a kid, you have to serve detention.Part of the point of the game really is staying out of trouble.

The game also takes on a more realistic feel. There's a clock in the corner that shows you what time it is. If you're caught wandering around the school after hours there are consequences. If you stay out too late, you'll actually get tired and fall asleep.

The game looks and sounds brilliant. Fantastic voice acting really brings the story to life. The game also has some great visuals. The school and environments look astonishing.

Bully is a great game to be sure. It's almost like an interactive teenage drama come to life.A lot of the game is humorous and fun.But most importantly, it isn't Grand Theft Auto and it does stand on its own.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Review

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Undead Nightmare is a bargin any way you look at it.You get a lot for your money. If you want tocomplete everything plan on investing a solid 10 to 20 hours.

I'll try to give a quick overview that doesn't give much away.

You are once again playing as John Marston. This time you are trying to find out why zombies have taken over the west. If you want to put a time stamp on this game it takes place between John Marston reuniting with his family and the end of Red Dead Redemption.

While you take on various tasks through the storyline you find yourself rescuing town after town from zobmie hordes. This gets a little old after a while but you get different weapons from each town you save. One reason this gets old is because no town is saved forever. The zombies will attack again.

The story takes you through Texas and Mexico on your hunt to stop the hordes. Along the way you run into many of the characters from Red Dead Redemption. I can't give away the ending but but it is one of the best endings you will find in a game.It is awesome.

Beyond the story there are new things to hunt, new random events, and new weapons which will keep you busy for hours.

The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the fact that it gets repeative after a while.Even considering that this is a must have!

Max Payne Review

Max Payne
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although the name of this game might be a turn off at first (Max Payne? How original!), you should never judge a book by it's cover. At a glance it may seem like just another clone shoot-em-up game, but in reality the game is quite innovative and just about the most fun you'll ever have with a shooting game.
You play the game as Max Payne, an undercover DEA agent who's having a streak of a bad luck (to put it lightly).I don't want to ruin the story, but bottom line is that you'll end up having to shoot your way out of every situation. The gameplay is superb! With a short and painless tutorial, easy to navigate controls, and 10-20 minute learning curve, the game is quite easy to jump into and play. The story plays out like a bad action flick, but it's fitting and actually adds to the gameplay.
The graphics are excellent and the level of detail is amazing as well.Within the game you'll see bullet holes from every shot you've taken and looking down at the floor you'll even be able to count the shells from your gun. There is no item decay which helps add to the realism, if you gun down some punk you can run around for 20 minutes and when you return his body will still be there (and so will the shells from your gun). The story settings are excellent as well.Running around seedy parts of the Bronx while gunning down mobsters and drug addicts is quite a change of pace from the your normal shooter where you're on a space station killing stupid looking aliens. Also, the "Bullet Time" effect is something completely new to the genre that really makes the game shine.Basically what "Bullet Time" does is put the game in slow-motion allowing you to get a better edge in gun battles and perform beautiful action-movie-like stunts.Although "Bullet Time" sounds like a cheat, it's really what makes the game great. You won't be able to just do it whenver you want for as long as you want. You have an Hourglass that determines how much B-Time you have left, and even when it's full it's only a couple of seconds in total.Earning more B-Time requires you to kill thugs WITHOUT using the B-Time, so it is best saved for tight situations.
Now although I do rate the game with 5 Stars, it does have it's annoyances. For one, the game is quite short. If you have a whole day to yourself you can blow through the game within a good 10 hours.Another annoying thing is the AI reflexes. It's almost impossible to sneak up on these thugs! The second you enter the room they are all aware of your presence, sometimes even before you enter. It's frustrating because these are supposed to be low-level hoodlums and yet they have the reflexes of a Navy SEAL.Another thing that will annoy the hell out of you is how long it can take to kill the people sometimes. You'd think a point-blank blast to the stomach from a Pump-Action Shotgun would be enough to finish off ANY human being... but be prepared to fire again. It'll also annoy you when you put 10 rounds from your Beretta into a gangsters chest to have him keep charging at you as if unaffected.Basically the bad-guys show no sign of pain or injury other than death. You can shoot him in the legs all you like, it won't do much other than kill him... eventually. But even with these problems I still rate the game a five because once you're playing, you won't even be thinking about these things. The game is short, but so much fun!
Overall, Max Payne delivers a very entertaining and very fresh gameplay experience. With many realistic weapons to choose from, the Bullet Time feature, the realistic enviroments, and the action packed gameplay, Max Payne will have you begging for a sequel once you've completed the game.Bottom line... the game is FUN!

Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne Review

Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Max Payne exploded onto the scene in 2001 with innovative gameplay using the 'Bullet-time' special effect that made 1999's hit 'The Matrix' so amazing.Incorporating that effect strategically into gameplay was unquestionably difficult, but it was done so well that Max Payne became an instant classic with its noir, indie-movie style story told through 'Graphic Novel' interface, which is basically comic book inspired images with real actors and some great voice-overs.Max Payne 2 retains all those features and more in this new and excellent installment.
Gone is Max Payne's infamous 'scrunchie face' or 'constipation face' from the original. He also talks in metaphors alot less than he used to.All characters have been completely redesigned and are more life-like than ever, with fully animated facial features. The new AI system allows some people to fight along side you, which can really help in a jam.Since the AI is good, you won't find yourself on the receiving end of your computer allies' gunfire too often. As you progress, the enemy AI adapts to your tactics, which keeps you on your toes.
Bullet-Time is better than ever, and the death scenes in this game never cease to entertain. Many people complain to no end about the 'ragdoll physics' on the bodies, which basically means that the deadbodies flail into extreme positions, like a ragdoll stunt double would in a movie. While these physics can be a bit silly (and at times glitchy), I personally think they make for some very entertaining death scenes. At some points, when you defeat a crucial enemy or the last enemy in the area, the camera will pan around in slow-motion and show you the death.Since the ragdoll physics apply to many other objects, watching your dead enemies fall into a pile of 2x4's, sending them flying all over the place, is very entertaining.
The story in this game is just as good, if not better than the first game. The new, haunting soundtrack is also excellent and sets the mood of the game perfectly.Voice-acting even seems to be vastly improved over the first game, even though the first game had great voice acting to begin with. The characters all have their own distinct personalities, and the game was just a blast to play.
The game isn't short, but you could probably rip through it in about 8-12 hours of actual gameplay.Alternate gameplay modes open up when you beat the game, adding replay value.Overall, Max Payne 2 is an excellent game that is well worth the money. The action-packed and dramatic gameplay sequences, great story-telling and music will keep you glued to your screen until the very end.Definitely a sequel that lives up to and even surpasses the original.

Red Dead Redemption Review

Red Dead Redemption
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Synopsis:
From the team that brought you Grand Theft Auto, you are now thrown head long into a wild west adventure. You control John Marston. This game is set in the desert in 1911 (same year as my favorite .45 was made). You are somewhere near the Mexico border. John was a criminal that ticked off many people in his past and now has to atone for what he did. People come out of the woodwork either as his friends or enemies.

My play experience:
On the PS3 the graphics are really sharp and crisp. The textures, the ambiance all bring the wild west to your home living room.

In recent years there have been games that have tried to capture the essence of the western genre. For example Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood which on the surface was a pretty good game, it however was not a very good story. In COJ the main characters are brothers that are ex-confederate soldiers. The story never really grabs hold and to be honest I never finished COJ. The story in Red Dead Redemption is done so well that it never feels pushed or contrived. Instead its done like an old western movie. Its gritty and a world that beckons you back time and time again.

For now let me discuss the cool features:

Horses: +
I think they put a horse into a motion capture room and had him run around. In Assassins Creed II the horse was a good way to get from town to town and the motion was pretty real. In Red Dead Redemption its super smooth an you feel like your out exploring the desert on a horse with no name... Kick your horse too much to get him to chase down that coach, you could be looking at a wild ride as he tries to buck you off. The longer you keep 1 horse the more stamina and other abilities it gets.
EDIT: I see they actually DID use a live horse to make the motion capture. It shows.

You can also ride stage coaches and trains. Or rob them, its up to you. See gameplay below.

Gunfighting: +
You are a real gunslinger in this game. To get prepped to get it I watched Young Guns [Blu-ray] and a couple of other westerns. This game matches the combat of say GTA and COD. Where you shoot someone matters, and it can affect your character in different ways too. Some of my opponents are gonna have a limp for a while at least.

Atmosphere: +
There are critters running all over as you ride through the desert landscape. It feels dusty, makes me want to wear a bandanna as I play. When you get low on cash you can kill and skin critters for a few coin. There are actually many ways that you can earn money in this game besides being a hard criminal.

World: +
So far its just massive. I can only compare it to the run from Commonlands to Qeynos in EQ. It seems to be fully explorable and I have found very few places I couldn't go. It really is huge. I have seen that someone said it was the biggest world ever done in a Rockstar game. Which is impressive considering that those games can go on forever. The land is great in that it hardly ever repeats as you ride. Matter of fact I haven't seen any textures or vistas that look the same. Maybe there are but they are so far apart that you wont notice it. An example of this is the train ride into the mountains in Uncharted 2.

Towns: +
Unlike GTA you wont have a huge city to run around. Out west these were small settlements and usually had only a couple of hundred people in them. Think about all the old wild west movies you have seen where there is maybe 10 shops and a few houses in the town directly. The way they did the towns is very endearing, because it makes it an immersion type of game experience.

Poker: +
I love the side games. I have lost my fair share of my real money playing poker and now I can do this in game too.

Gameplay options: +
You can be the good guy or be a down right criminal. The game system supports either mode and varying degrees in between. This allows RDR to be more than just a shooter, but more like an RPG. Be careful who you pull your gun on. If you do it in town you can start something that will ultimately lower your honor.

Controls: +/-
The controls are a bit different here and do take some time to figure out. But any game can be that way. If you go from say a driving game to a shooter you might hit the wrong buttons once and a while. After playing this for nearly 2 days solid now and not switching to other games in between, I have totally become comfortable with the controlling scheme.

Multiplayer: NA
I do not enjoy multiplayer shooters. I am really no good at it so I tend to not play it much or at all. That being said I jumped in a couple of games and it was ok. If your a hard core multiplayer person please check other reviews for this. I would not do it justice because I tend to be jaded with regard to multiplayer games.

Replayability:

I am almost done and I can see where I would have like to do something different in the way I played this. That being said, I think that I could go back through and try it again maybe being a bit evil this time. For that I think that this is a game you could play over and over, adjust the story line, and enjoy it each time you did.

Summary:
This game is really appealing if:
A. You enjoy GTA type of game play, open world and a morality system that challenges you.
B. Fan of westerns and cowboy movies. If you hate them and think they are silly then you probably wouldnt enjoy this.

If you are A+B then this game is a hands down favorite pick to have in your PS3 arsenal.

Some Tips: (no spoilers)
I have almost 30 hours into this game and I am not done. I do goof around alot and like to go hunting and see what other mischief I can get into. Playing poker for 3 hours doesnt hurt either. That being said I want to drop some tips in to help those of you still waiting or are looking.

Horses:
1. Dont get to attached to your horse. Think of them like a car, reason being there are tons of ways they can die. From random mountain lions, to getting shot by the enemy to you shooting them in the back of the head on accident when wolves are attacking (sorry skippy :( )
2. When going in to attack a gang leave your horse way back and run up. When you have hog tied your bad guy you can whistle ^ arrow and he will run back over to you.
3. If you buy a horse the deed is in your bag, click it to call your horse back from the dead. (thanks S.L.V)

Gambling:
Like in real life its alot about luck so go in with the thought you'll do 1 buy in and when that money is gone leave, go kill some stuff and come back later. Your hands may improve

Time:
1. Pausing the game with the start button will show what time it is. Saving the game gives you 6 hours of rest. If you like shopping be sure you go to bed no later than 3am. Then when you get back up the stores will all be open, and you can go out and have a blast.

Camp:
Camp whenever you have a long ride ahead of you. As long as you have bought a map you can go to that place from your campground. Once in your campground you can select where to go without having to burn up the 6 hours of sleep. Then after it loads you will be at your destination. Good stuff.

Thats it for now. If I figure out any more lil tidbits Ill share them here with you. Have fun, it really is a great game.

Thanks for reading my review.
