I got this set when it first came out, and I really loved it.It has so much information on the Trek Universe.I really loved the Next Generation CD because it has all the information on the episodes. And I love the omnipedia CD as well.Basically it's a Star Trek encyclopedia, and that really caught my attention. There's a CD that teaches the language of Klingon, and there is just so much to view and to look at in this set. It's definitely worth the addition to any Star Trek Collector's collection.

Star Trek: Armada Review

Star Trek: Armada

As a long suffering Star Trek fan who wishes that not almost every ST PC game turns out to be a stinker, I am glad to report that this game turned out to be playable. Like Blizzard's Starcraft, you control each of the 4major ST: Next Generation races in turn (Federation, Klingon, Romulan, andBorg), solving a series of liked scenarios for each, all linked through acommon storyline. I'd wait until a patch was available before buying itthough. If the bugs were fixed, I'd rate it a 4-star.
The good parts: Thegraphics are really terrific, with smooth animation and effects that reallyadd to the game. Several different unique ships for each race, each withits own special abilities. The ability to capture enemy ships andfacilities. The campaign scenarios are varied and interesting. The gameinterface is simple and user-friendly.
The bad parts: The campaign isreally short, the AI is none too bright and the game has some seriousstability problems (crashed on starting, crashed on saving, crashed onloading).

Along the way, you will survive a Klingon civil war, Romulan subterfuge, and the Borg's search for perfection. The future is in your command.
Star Trek: Armada is the first real-time 3-D strategy game set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe. Star Trek Online Timecard Review

Star Trek Online Timecard
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This isn't a review for the game. This is a review for the 60-day online timecard.

The card was easy to use, just go to your Cryptic account at [...] and enter in the timecard's key number where you would normally put your Paypal or Credit Card information on the subscription page, make sure you select the the option for pre-paid timecard before you enter in the timecard's key or it will not work. Easy and quick.

NOTE: The timecard is stackable meaning that if you just bought the game you will have 30 days play time already. You can enter in this kind of card at any point and it will ADD the 60 days to whatever remaining time you have on the account. So if you had 15 days left over from the retail copy of the game or another timecard it would add 60 days to that making it 75 days of play time remaining. It does not cancel out or make you lose already paid for time so add the cards whenever you like. I prefer to do this right away so I don't lose them.
