(More customer reviews)Nox is an adventure/RPG played from an overhead third-person perspective. You can play single or multiplayer modes. You can choose to be a warrior, conjurer, or wizard. It utilizes a neat feature that blacks out anything that your character could not see from his perspective. This makes it possible for monsters to "hide" behind crates or other objects. Another neat feature is the movable objects in the game. Unlike most games in this genre, the game world contains many movable objects which, combined with the excellent graphics, give the game a realistic feel. Instead of being stopped dead in your tracks upon colliding with something like a chair or other motile object(as in most other games of this type), your character will push the object out of his way. The storyline is very involving due to the many cinimatic sequences built into the game. These sequences are done very well, and instead of completely removing you from the atmosphere of the game, these cutscenes are done simply by showing the game in a widescreen view as characters interact. During these scenes, you have no control over your charachter, which is fine, because most of the time you wouldn't want to do anything anyway.The multiplayer mode is also excellent. You can play over network or internet and there is now a downloadable multiplayer pack that adds a "quest mode" to multiplayer. The game comes with a companion cd as well, so a friend can join in without having to purchase the game themselves. Overall, this game is well worth your money and should provide many hours of enjoyment.

(More customer reviews)I found "Tradewinds Legends" through Big Fish Games - which offers 60 minutes of free play time for this game.And I have to say that I was hooked from the time my first ship set sail!

This game has 2 modes of play, "Story Mode" & "Free Trade Mode".In "story mode", after choosing the character you want to play (each with different abilities, traits, backgrounds, & personalities), you begin completing tasks for the different sultans of each port & increasing your wealth through the buying & selling of various products in the ports.In order to do this you have to buy low & sell high, build a fleet of strong ships, & protect yourself & other's through battling the pirates who invade, pillage, & steal in these waters.

In "Free Trade Mode" the only difference is that you don't complete the tasks of the sultans - everything else is the same.

After victoriously battling your way to the top for the first time, you're given the option to create your own character by choosing their name, gender, class, nationality, career, & picture from the options given.

I have to agree with previous reviewers in that the graphics are simplistic - but it really doesn't negatively impact how fun "Tradewinds" is to play.And, on top of being fun to play, it's a great way for kids to learn the value of money, and the impact of such things as: how interest works both in the saving & borrowing of money, as well as the concept of finding the best value for the items you want to buy.

Overall, this is a great game for adults & kids alike!Not only is it fun, but it can also teach the value of a dollar.Because of this, it's also a great game for parents & children to play together!

(More customer reviews)This game is a very fun game for Twisted Metal fans and people just getting into the series.This game has awesome graphics just like the PS2 (but a lot more fun than Twisted Metal: Black).

There are three different single player game modes.Story mode is where you pick a car and use it for 11 different levels to destroy the other people's cars.Challenge mode is where you make all the rules and choose the opponents.Endurance mode is where you see how long you last.There is also a multiplayer mode for this game.

The characters from all the old games are back like: Sweet Tooth, Axel, Warthog, Outlaw, and many more.Each have their own characteristics (speed, armor, special weapon, and handling).There's bound to be a character for everyone.

This game is a fun game and an easy game to learn so I recommend it for people just getting the PSP also.Some people may not like the game so I recommend renting it first (gamefly.com *Please Refer Me).
