Rumble Roses Review

Ofcourse there is a stigma that this game is for perverts (the half naked anime girls help create that stigma), but it's actually a really good game. I found the wrestling to be brutal&funny, and I found the story mode to be hilarious & Corny & Creative.

For wrestling fans, I found Rumble Roses to have the best submission system for any wrestling game I have seen to date. I also like the heel/face system of the game. The heel/face system of the game lets you choose whether your wrestler will be good or evil. The good and evil characters have different moves, story modes, and ring entrances (which adds more fun to the game).

Being an old Nintendo gamer from the 80's, this game reminds me how far video games have progressed. In my day your had to imagine what your 8 bit charaters looked like. Now, not only can you cleary see your characters face, but you also see facial expressions and a moving mouth. Graphics=5

Fun Factor=4.5

Total=4.3 STARS

Not sure why this game is rated M. It's pretty tame compared to games like Grand Theft Auto and Blood Rayne. The outfits are pretty revealing, but I don't think this game deserves an M.

Product Description:
Developed jointly by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and wrestling game developer Yuke's, Rumble Roses is a powerhouse combination with intense wresting action, sexy female models, audacious poses and bold moves - all delivered with state-of-the-art graphics. Rumble Roses also features an advanced combat system that allows players to develop unique styles for their wrestlers. Players are able to change the personalities of their wrestlers through their actions in the ring, which then translates into changes in costume, attitude, and wrestling style options. Insults and taunts prove a lot more important here than in your typical wrestling title too, and many of the maneuvers are said to leave opponents in, what we will call, "compromising positions".

The Warriors Review

This is a blast!Reminds me of Manhunt. The dark late 70's sci fi thriller music makes it really dark. The graphics and action are slick quick and brutal!I can't believe the quality of the animation, action, audio, and graphics.

This game really sucks you in, just like the Grand Theft Auto series. Based on a cult movie from the late 70's, its a fun odyssey. Its pretty much "Gang Theft Brawler: NYC Stories".Its really violent and fun, with all kinds of savage street weapons, run ins with the cops, burglary, muggings, beatdowns, and 70's blaxploitation lingo.

Managing your gang in realtime, with nicely primitive gang function commands (mayhem, wreck'em, let's go, watch my back, hold up, etc.) gives it some strategy flare, and makes it more like an RPG, or less redundant, anyway.

I like the fact that this has a 2 player option; perfect!Especially since the movie inspired the Double Dragon video game.
This game really immerses you in a real city: New York, NY and surrounding urban areas.I've never been to NYC, but I know a lot of the geography is used in this game.

The plot is decent, since it fills in blanks around the movie script.
This game may get redundent, but we'll see.The movie was about how the Warriors (your gang) traverse the city, full of other equally weird looking and brutal gangs that are hunting your gang, for good reason.
The soundtrack includes "I Love Livin In The City" by none other than Fear.It just spells every reason I'll never live in the suburbs.

Can you dig it?

The Warriors brings you the drama of the cult film. When gang leader Cyrus called a summit for every gang in New York, he asked them to unite into one massive army -- under his command, they'd be strong enough to take over the city. The gang kids seemed ready to sign up, until Cyrus was shot by a rival. It's pinned on "The Warriors" -- a small-time gang from the edge of the city. Blamed for a murder they didn't commit, The Warriors have to get from the Bronx to their home turf in Coney Island, with every gang in New York chasing them. Help them fight their way through all the gangs they meet -- and get them home in one piece without getting grabbed by the cops.Dregs drawer is inside the machine and conveniently accessed from the front after sliding out the drip tray.
