In the grand pantheon of online games that have come and gone (or are in the process of going) this is by far the one that I miss the most. Air Warrior III, or AW3 to those in the know, was a fairly simplistic air combat simulator/game that offered up an amazing array of different flyable aircraft from several time periods in a number of different combat arenas. Each arena was themed, with a WWI arena for those wanting good old-fashioned biplane combat, to several WW2 types. The numerous types of aircraft you could fly in the arena were mindblowing, and coupled with the novice-level flight characteristics this game offered the player an unprecedented level of freedom in their play-style. The graphics were rather dated for their day, but the gameplay more than made up for it, which is something I wish more game companies took note of.

The most heavily populated arena was a WW2 themed one in which each team was separated from the other by a river (teams were A,B, and C. Nothing fancy here). Players would go to specific airfields and select one of *dozens* of aircraft, ranging from one of several variants of Spitfire or Bf-109, to the lumbering giant B-17, down to the IL-2 Sturmovik. In addition other players could assign themselves to your plane as gunners, which added to one's lifespan over the battlefield. In the process numbers of "aces" began flying over the arena and engaging in long dogfights with other aces, and furballs (or large collections of fighters in one enormous dogfight) were a common sight over contested ground. This game was not limited to aircraft alone, however. The player could select tanks and flakpanzers for base defense, and if patient, could even drive the long distances to enemy bases and wreak unbelievable havoc.

The goal of each team was to bombard enemy bases to a point where a C-47 Skytrain could be flown in to drop paratroops, which would then "capture" the base. This sounds simplistic, but it's actually quite involved when you have up to 300-400 individual people in the arena at once.

I particularly enjoyed flying my underpowered and undergunned Ju-87 Stuka on divebombing missions against enemy bases, and when I would drop the dive flaps and roll the nose over towards the enemy base's oil tanks it was a rush beyond words. Especially when the poor folks on the ground could hear my dive sirens wailing and had nowhere to go. How I miss it! With organized player-made squadrons one could join in on massive bombing raids, utilizing a mix of several fully-crewed B-17 Flying Forts, as well as a hodgepodge of lighter DeHavilland Mosquitoes and B-25 Mitchells, with fighter escort.

When EA finally dropped the game in early 2002 there were a lot of AW3 veterans with only limited choice on where to go to continue thier online flying habit, namely World War II Online, Warbirds, and others. I've tried several of these games out but have failed to find one that is as immersive and fun as was AW3. If I knew of a place online where I could return to play this venerable classic I'd be willing to pay large monthly sums to do so. The flight characteristics were so forgiving that the game gave the player the time to enjoy the experience, rather than fighting with tedium and 4000 page instruction manuals.

I still think often of my old squadron members and wish I could fly with them again. Salute to any C-Hawks who may be reading this!

barco :)

First off, you should know that this game has practically no replay value. However, the first time you play it is a blast. It says that you can play with a buddy, fighting the forces of evil, but this is an awful way to play considering that one of the players has to use the keyboard to move the crosshair. That makes it virtually impossible for you to beat the final boss, because he moves so fast. Also, you should definitley not play if you get tired easily. You have to click the mouse like a million clicks a second, just to kill a regular boss.you can eaily get carple tunnel syndrome from playing this game too much.I found that I had to pause the game a couple of times, just to let my wrist rest for twenty minutes.I would give 4/5 stars on graphics.I see myself as a very skilled gamer, but even I had much trouble defeating the final boss.I probably spent a total of 2 hours playing this game. The game is not very realistic, but it is not supposed to be.I really liked how there are quite a number of different paths that you can take throughout the game.My mom really didn't like me playing this game...oh well. So, I gave it 3 stars because of its short gameplay, and inevitable pain, but i only bought it for 5 bucks at a store, so it was well worth it.Its not really a bad game at all.I say if you see it for $10 or less get it, but if you don't, get Time Splitters cheap on ebay.

Unreal Tournament III Review

Unreal Tournament III

UT3 is probably the fastest FPS on the consoles at this time. With lightning fast gameplay and stunning visuals. I only noticed very minor texture pop ins and the occasional framerate dipsbut really I'm being nitpicky here, UT3 looks and plays fantastic, near perfection for it's style of gameplay and probably the best looking, best performing game currently on the 360 to date.

With the addition of 5 New Maps for the 360 version, 3 of which are wholly new and 2 are reinvisioned versions of the PS3/PC version with Necris themes. All of the maps look quite good and some are fantastic looking.

I've noticed that they improved the 360's version , by tweaking the core controls with a 'minor' aim assist , I noticed that the bullets track a little better and behave more realisticly. I don't prefer aim assist myself ,BUT , I will say the 360 version is the most refined version yet ,aside from the HUGE GAP ,of not supporting user created mods, it is the most polished port.

The split-screen is fun,if your into that, UT3 360 supports split-screen online multi,co-op,local,and System Link. (no split-screen ranked matches though)

All DLC that's available for the PS3 is included in the 360 version (ASIDE FROM USER created mods)

(If your still into UT 'fast twitch'style gameplay)
The multiplayer is liquid fast and fun, with Game Modes DeathMatch ,Team DeathMatch,CTF,Vehicle CTF,Duel, and last but not least Warfare which is a team based mode involving Capturing and linking together 'nodes' with your orbs ,so you can destroy the enemies core. Warfare adds a little strategy to the twitchgameplay mechanics of UT3.

UT3 is so fast,so frenetic , you'll barely have time to come up for air .
I was playing UT3 for about 7 hours and didn't even realize it, there's definitely no down times in UT3.

The single player campaign ,is little more than glorified BOT matches, but that's not such a bad thing as the enemy AI are really about as close as you can get to real humans, (sometimes better) especially on the harder settings.
There isn't much of a story in the campaign, but that's ok I don't wanna watch a bunch of mini-movies anyways. But It would've been nice to have a deeper 'in-game' story mode, instead you get the occasional little cutscenes in between matches. ATleast you have access to all online matches offline as well. Some of the MAPS areabsolutley stunning as you progress into the game, these maps by far look superiorto just about any game on the 360. There were quite a few 'jaw dropping' moments in the maps. When EPIC said in there early interviews with various magazines that UT3 'makes Gears look ugly' , They weren't kidding. But the comparison ends there, don't expect a Gears style cover system. UT3 is pure unadulterated lightning fast gameplay. I can't get over how fast this game performs. Other games like Gears,RSV, move at snails pace compared to this game, its insanely fast. You know some games slow down your player to help the graphics perform better, BUT UT3 , turns the dial past 11 and it still looks smooth as butter.

Switching weapons are mapped to the RB and LB respectively and of course all have some form ofalternate fire (LT),
at first I would've preferred a quicker layout of weapon toggle, BUT , the controls are really easy for any 360 FPS veteran ,you shouldn't have any problems jumping right in and playing.
The vehicles all drive and perform closely to Halo's Warthog ,there quite easy and intuitive as well ,with a little learning curve ,that's a perfect time to check out the campaign's offline BOT matches to hone up your skills for online.Especially sharpening your skills for capturing nodes and learning the best routes in the maps. There's also tons of unique flying vehicles .

UT3is a fantastic game on the 360 ,with the only real downside to the 360 version is the lack of 'user created mods' and the lack of a 'real' story in the campaign , BUT THERE IS TONS of game content offline with the BOTS.

I've seen from interviews from EPIC you can expect some solution for user created mods most likely in the form of DLC ? who knows? . But the 360 is so meaty ,so full of game content it really is an exciting game and the lack of user created mods should'nt detour you from picking up a copy for yourself. If your looking for a deep single player story campaign and don't have LIVE access I would suggest renting it first, as there's no real deep story here ,BUT , even offline the BOT matches can be fun. There's just no match though for human counterparts online,UT3 true shining feature is the Multi-player and it's one of the best looking ,best performing games on the 360 to date, if not THE BEST.

I got through the camapaign's single player in about 17 hours. I gotta admit the BOTS are extremely impressive on the harder settings and you get (8) difficulty settings from Novice to Godlike. Trust me these BOTS will test even the most skilled players. You can even play 'instant action' offline ,and manually set Bot skill levels, number of combatants,Goal Score,Time Limit,Opposing Bot Faction, and Force Respawn toggle. WOW what can I say ,stuff usually reserved for online play only is ALL available to the non-LIVE players. Very nice indeed.

Overall UT3 is much better than I had expected. EPIC really knows what there doing when it comes to Unreal Tournament style gameplay and they tweaked the 360 to its maxium limits and to my surprise ,the game is exceptionally smooth, clean, and fast paced with out so much as a hiccup or a very rare framedrop on the 360.Definitley pick this game up a very, very solid FPS.

PEACE

Midtown Madness 3 Review

Midtown Madness 3

This game is a hoot. Pick a car (and earn more cars over time), pick a city (Paris or D.C.), and start driving. You can just cruise around, or race (against yourself, against another player, or against virtual players), or do a job (deliver packages, be a limo driver, be an ambulance, be a police officer, etc.). The cities are huge and rendered with incredible amounts of detail, so even just cruising around is fun. And, everything is smashable so you can drive the way you've always wanted to. This software was obviously a labor of love. Quality is very high compared to most of the other XBox titles I have played.
I'm not a big fan of racing games normally, but I like this one because it it set in cities instead of a boring race track. I feel like I know Paris and D.C. thanks to all the time I've spent in them. By the way, you can visit the Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. in Paris and the various monuments in D.C.
Everyone enjoys this game. That includes me (age 42) and my wife (34); my daughters (6 and 4), my father in law, and my father (who immediately announced plans to buy an XBox of his own).
I'm frankly puzzled at some of the negative opinions others have expressed. Every person I've witnessed playing this game has become an instant fan.

One Piece Grand Adventure Review

One Piece Grand Adventure
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
One Piece: Grand Adventure is the sequel to last year's Grand Battle, and is basically a huge upgrade that tosses in more of everything. You still play as Monkey D. Luffy and his friends and foes, fighting each other insmash bros/powerstone fashion. Master wacky and devastating secret moves, grab power-ups, and watch out for the environment.

The 'adventure' this time comes in the form of a quest mode, where you can build your own pirate crew and level them up as you travel from island to island. This is also where you unlock the bulk of the new content, including 8 new characters, 3 new arenas, as well as alternate costumes and other trophy room goodies. Plus get a sneak peak at the next story arc, complete with 4Kids' awful voice acting.

Graphics are largely the same, though they've been tweaked and refined and old environments have new variations. Voice-acting is somewhat more tolerable this time around. Those who imported Grand Battle Rush will find less new content than those who stuck with the american Grand Battle, but there's still some exclusive goodies to explore.

Hands down, this is the biggest One Piece game. Highly recommended to anyone with interest in the series, or fighting games in general.

Crash Time Review

1. Can be enjoyed equally well using either the controller or the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel with the gas and brake pedals. Both will give you a different experience. Using the wheel while sitting in a chair is just like driving a car while using the controller may alloy for a little more precision driving around corners. Both will provide a unique experience and double the value of your racing/diving games.
2. THE AUTOREVERSE IS UNIQUE IN THIS GAME COMPARED TO OTHER RACING GAMES.THE MANUAL DOESN'T TELL YOU HOW TO AUTOREVERSE CORRECTLY, BUT I'LL TELL YOU.After coming to a completes stop with your left trigger pulled, release the left trigger, and then re-pull the left trigger to go into reverse. Then pull the right trigger when you need to go forward again. You can also manually shift gears or go into reverse even with the car in automatic.
3. The autoreverse works only when you are flush against a solid object and can't move an inch to the right or left. If doesn't seem to matter if you have autoreverse enabled or disabled, it seems to work the same way.
4. You can disable the replay feature it desired.
5. When racing thru traffic, drive in the first person (hood or bumper view). It' much easier to race through traffic with a lot less damage than the 3rd-person view. The trailing views aren't nealy as fun either.
6. When you need to smash the targeted car and then pull up beside it or to give it 100% damage, it's advantageous to switch to the 3rd person (trailing view) but not essential.
7. Switch the view points using the up on the directional pad.
8. This game is really challanging and hard even on "easy". Just like Turok there is nothing easy when you play it on "easy". This is much more fun than shooters. You get to drive thru the city, dirt roads, and the Autobaun at 100 to 160mph completing all the challenges and missions.
9. I don't think any sane person can beat the game Hard without spending 1,000,000 hours of game play. So don't even try. Go into the options menu and change it to "easy". On hard the damage to your car is a 10% limit. On Normal it's 20%. On "Easy" its 30%. The damage quota isn't there for some of the missions.
10. You can change the KPH to MPH in the options menu.
11. After the first case is beaten, 5 race tracks and 5 vehicles will be unlocked. With each case you beat you will unlock more and more. The racing events are fun. You get to do point to point races and circuit races using all kinds of different vehicles and tracks thru the Autobaun, city and country roads.
12. You can play the game with the cases, and you can do the racing events (after the first case is beaten).
13. THIS GAME CAN BE REALLY FRUSTRATING AT TIMES. YOU MIGHT NEED TO REPEAT SOME OF THE MISSIONS SEVERAL TIMES FOR HOURS TO BEAT SOME OF THEM. ALSO, AFTER YOU BEAT THE FIRST COUPLE OF CASES, ON SOME MISSIONS, THE OBJECTIVES WILL FLASH BY IN JUST ONE OR TWO SECONDS. YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT TO DO BASED ON PREVIOUS MISSIONS YOU BEAT ESPECIALLY FROM THE FIRST CASE. BUT, EVERYTIME YOU FAIL A MISSION, THERE IS A CHECKLIST OF MISSION OBJECTIVES LISTING THE OBJECTIVES YOU WERE SUCCESSFUL AT (GREEN CHECKMARK) AND THOSE OBJECTIVES YOU FAILED (RED CHECKMARK).

Each case has many missions to it, about 5 or 6 average.
Each and every mission has a new challenges with new variables as you go thru the game. There is a new and different challenge to be done. You'll have different vehicle and even a tank. A few of challenges are the similar to previous ones, but each is unique with unique variable, e.g, traffic for one. You are traveling thru the Autobaun and country roads and city streets with a new and unique challenge with each case and mission.
Once you get passed the first case, the challenges become more unique and fun. Just when you thought you've experienced it all there's a new more challenging mission.

This is totally unique from any other driving game. This makes a great addition to all the other racing/driving games that I own, e.g., Dirt 2, Grid, Need For Speed: Pro Street/Undercover/Shift, Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Burnout Paradise.
This is a keeper. I love this game. This can also be one of the tougher/toughest games to beat all the way through even on "easy".

I've beaten this game twice. I know it well.I can assist with any questions.

There's also a sequal called Autobaun Polezi which is great also. There are the case missions, plus missions you get on patrol along with a GPS indicator as well as a map in the pause menu to see where your target is.
There's a CrashTime III which has been release in Europe, but not yet in the USA.

Aliens Versus Predator 2 Review

Aliens Versus Predator 2

Even after beating this game several years ago, this remains as my all time favorite shooter (yes, I like it more than Halo.). The game not only offers a fantastic, twisting story, but also some of the most impressive level design I've ever seen. Choose your side, (marine, alien-aka xenomorph, or predator) and let the fun begin. All three species offer different levels, weapons, and play style, which will ultimatly appeal to everyone. As a marine, the game plays a lot like the alien movies (the second one in paticular), in that you will often feel very scard and creeped out through-out many of the levels, runing from predators, killing aliens, and ultimatly being very frightened, with your heart racing at the end of every level. As the predator, the game loses it's scare factor, in turn making you feel like the master of your domain, with a wide variety of gadgets and weapons to slaughter your enemies (sorry, "prey") with. No longer are you the scared and lonly marine, but instead a stealthy killing machine with the tools to handle any job. The alien missions, though, are very different from the others, in the sense that you begin life as a "face hugger", impregnate a human and become a "chest burster" and finially evolve to your final form, the dreaded alien creature featured in the movie Alien. As the alien, you will probably find your self moving very stealthily through most of the game, choosing your moments to strike. With the ability to crawl on walls and ceilings, the alien missions can get a little disorenting, but you realy wouldn't be much of an alien if you couldn't cling to walls. Why do I still play the game after beating it? you ask. Doesn't the single player get boring after a while? you ask. Well the answer is yes, the single player does get boring after you beat it with all the species, and there is little-to-no replay value for the game. The reason I (and many others) continue to play this game is because of the incredable online play (which is VERY easy to use and compleatly free of charge!) Multiplay for this game is a master piece you need to experience. weather its a multi-species death match on a huge map, or an "evac" game in close quarters, this game is the difinitive online shooter experience, with dozens of multiplayer modes. Something no shooter, alien, or predator fan can afford to miss.

...
I do own both these game and have played them extensively and let me put down what I think I like about both games so that it could help you decide which one to buy.Personally, I would recommend buying both :
First let me start off my saying both are excellent games but both are truly 2 different games. For those of you who are use to madden, dont think you can jump right in and play nfl2k3, and vice versa, both play completely different.
Madden2003:
-----------
This game is more for the casual football player.Madden is very polished and has options galore. If your into stat tracking, Madden is the game for you then. This game is very deep in all areas which will appeal to many people. It is truly the game for the person who just wants to pick up and play and not really have to think football. It is more of a family game in some aspects because of it's simplicty.
Plus':
-----
Graphics : Very good graphics, player models are done uniquelyand stadiums are dead on perfect in this game. Also nice touches to the field textures and postplay animations. The game is very polished graphically, it really looks like a masterpiece.
Gameplay : very easy to pick up gameplay.Momentum based physics adds a lot to this game where it keeps the game realistic in terms of how players get hit and how they respond to tackles. This is truly more of an offensive minded game and that equates to more fun for some.Stat tracking is the best bar none in madden and the options can't be matched in any other game.
Sound : The football sounds and extra sounds are done very well in this game.Al Micheals and John Madden give the game a professional feel when annoucing althougth sometimes they get reptitive.
Minus'
-----
The only drawback in this game would be that the game is more cpu based than user based. So you can do everything right but if the cpu decides that it wants to complete a pass this down, well , it'll complete a pass that down.Sometimes the game may feel a bit too scripted.
---------------------------------------------------------------
NFL2K3
-------
This game is truly for the football minded technician or football minded coach. In this game, you have to know how to read the defensive formations, the kind of offensive plays you run, and the kind of players/teams you control. The best word I can use to describe this game is INTENSITY, because it is truly like you are playing an NFL game. This game is more of a user based game, so everything is up to the player rather than the computer to succeed. It's like putting your football mind into each player you control.
Plus':
GRAPHICS : Excellent player models and stadiums.Uses the ESPN license so it's based off of SPORTSCENTER and ESPN telecast, very profesional tv style look to it. Excellent Animations. Excellent player faces.
GAMEPLAY : More user based than cpu based. You must know football to win at this game. It's more of a head coaches game controlling the players which adds intensity and sense of professionalism to it.Passing and running the ball must be done correctly or you will eat turf.Defense is incredibly protrayed in this game where user can control any aspect of the defender.Gameplay wise this is more of a Defensive minded game.
Sounds : Top Notch second to none. The annoucers in this series have always been excellent and you really like to listen to them.Football sounds are done well too and crowd variance is teriffic.
Minus':
Only drawback for some could be that the learning curve for this game is very high.Don't expect to get this game and figure it out in a few minutes. You can't just mash buttons together and expect to win.It is truly for the football fanatic.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Well I hope this helps.Again, I would recommend buying both games since they play so different.I would compare these to games to say buying either a BMW or a MERCEDES.Both are great cars but have their own unqiue qualities to them that make them great rides.Enjoy!

This is a great computer game! The cars are cool, and the citys that you can drive in are even better. The citys are Miami, San Francisco, Los Angelas, and New York. I still haven't beaten the undercover missions, which is where you can choose which mission to do, and then try to beat it. What's really fun is some of the car chases that you have with the police. There is even a place where you can see the chases in different angles! Not only can you do missions but there are some seperate little games like "Survival" and "Pursuit" which are all really fun. I think that parents that are looking for a computer game to buy for their kids this is the one! I recomend that the ages be between 12 years and up. The graphics aren't the best, but the game makes up for it. Also, in case some of you are wondering, this game does work for Windows XP. Hope this helped!

Pokemon HeartGold Version Review

Pokemon HeartGold Version

I bought both Heart Gold and Soul Silver for my nine-year-old boy.I have lupus with photosensitivity and don't get to spend a lot of time outside with him, and I don't like to just plug him into a video game, so I compromise by playing video games with him. Those games have to be interactive and interesting enough to not drive me crazy. The ds pokemon games take care of both those concerns.

He chose Soul Silver for his game, so this one is mine. It's been years since I looked at the old Gameboy Color games, but this one seems to be just like the old one, except for the enhancements that came along with the double screen and the touch pad.The music includes more recent themes as well, but it makes me happy to hear the older ones.

My son absolutely loves the pokewalker.I love the idea of the pokewalker, but I haven't used mine, yet.We have used his to take his pokemon down to the park to take advantage of the not-too-bright sunlight.

The figurine is cute, but Ho-Oh is not as well-crafted as Lugia.Lugia is magnificent and is rendered consistently with the better graphic capabiiities of later games.Ho-Oh looks like he's straight off the Gameboy Advance. At best.I'm still very happy with the purchase, though.

Warriors Orochi 2 Review

Warriors Orochi 2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
If you're like me, the most attractive thing about the PSP is it is essentially a portable PS2; as such, I like to have games that are quality play experiences that I can also take with me and start and stop when I want. Warriors Orochi 2 is just the thing - if you are a fan of the Samurai Warriors or Dynasty Warriors franchises by Koei, Warriors Orochi 2 is a worthy successor of both.

I have played Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors games on a number of platforms (PS2, PS3, PSP) and, in general, loved the PS2 and PS3 versions. However, I always found the PSP versions of those two games (Samurai Warriors State of War and Dynasty Warriors Vol 2) to be lacking: they were too compartmentalized and didn't allow you to roam around the battlefield like you could in the console versions.

Warriors Orochi 2 clears up the sins of past PSP Samurai/Dynasty Warriors games and adds some great new twists; those of you familiar with the PS2 version of Dynasty Warriors 5 will find a lot to like in Warriors Orochi 2 - the characters and gameplay are more similar to that game than to Dynasty Warriors 6 which, in my view, was over-complicated with too little reward for your time.

In Warriors Orochi 2, the casts of both the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors universes have been brought together to battle the serpent demon Orochi; this gives the game more than 96 playable characters (including the dread Orochi himself). When playing in Story Mode, you choose three characters to be your strike team. You can use them interchangeable through each battle - while one fights, the other two regain health and Musou powers. In certain circumstances you can even bring out all three team members to perform devastation Musou attacks at once. The battlefields are full-sized, and there are often missions to accomplish during each battle; power-up items are liberally dropped and you can earn extra weapons, etc. One great feature of this game is the ability to customize and upgrade your weapons between battles; also, you can use experience points gained during battles to Level Up any character that you've unlocked.

The graphics are good - a little bit below high-grade PS2 graphics, but they look great on the PSP's screen, and the music and sound is great (unlike previous games, there are a lot of cutscenes and spoken dialogue before, during and after battles). Gameplay is repetitive (you'll be hitting the same three buttons a lot) but for those fans of previous games, you know that already. There is an in-game save feature also, which is wonderful for those of us on the go. The big problem with that, however, is that if you have an Interim Save and then you die, your progress in that mission is erased and you need to start from scratch; I'm not sure why they did that - it makes no sense. Also, unlike in some other games in the franchises, some of my favorite characters are unlockable, including Meng Huo, Zhu Rong, and the wily wizard Zuo Ci; almost all of the characters are easily unlockable simply by clearing missions - no next-to-impossible battle conditions to meet here. The focus on the game is just fun and not frustration. However, you'll definitely put in a lot of time leveling up your characters and getting them their best weapons, etc.

There are a couple of drawbacks to this game I should mention: first, the load times, which are frequent and often lengthy; this can be overcome via the game's Install feature, which lets you install the game's memory on your Memory Stick Duo to reduce the time it takes to load, but it can take at least 250+ MB to do so (if you want to go this route, you'll need at least a Sony 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Flash Memory Card MSMT2G). Another issue is that, right off the bat, you have only a very few characters to use; there are a lot to unlock, and this will take a lot of time. However if you're a fan of the franchises and/or looking for a fun action game that won't be too time consuming, Warriors Orochi 2 is for you.

Wii Net Connect Review

Wii Net Connect

I got this for my Wii since it was cheaper than setting up a wireless network, and cheaper than the USB Wii Dongle (which costs about as much as a Wireless Router),

I plugged this into the back of my Wii, plugged in an ethernet cable hooked up to my wired router and 2 minutes later I was downloading updates for my Wii.

I have not had any issues with this product, but one thing that might be of concern is that the cat5 ethrnet cable doesn't "lock" into place. It fits snugly, but a tug on the cable can remove it from the adapter. This might be considered a safety feature, since if your foot accidentally snags on your cable it will pull the cable out instead of pulling your Wii off your entertainment stand.

Digimon World: Dusk Review

Digimon World: Dusk
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Dusk Is part of a set of two games. The only real difference between the two is what specie are available so make sure you check which version you really want. The plot is typical follow an up and coming trainer as some unspeakable evil tries to conquer the world, but the real attraction here is the gameplay. Lovers of pokemon will be familiar with the party of critters battle system though the creation and abilities are a lot easier on Digimon and don't detract from the game. Farms have changed a bit, theme music and skins now make farms suited to one type or another.
Overall it's very much another version of digimon world for the DS, new species, slight improvements longer story. Not bad all in all though extremely young players may struggle with the aspects of monster raising as they're more complex than pokemon.
The verdict: Not bad, pick it up if you like this type of thing.
