MCLA:CE is the game to get if you are a fan of racing. Everything bad anyone has said about this game is wrong. The game is perfect. Some complain that it's too difficult. It is extremely challenging, and that's a good thing.

To make it clear, this is absolutely a free-roaming GTA type of experience, with an amazingly rich Los Angeles to explore. The only difference is that you never leave the car and the game is pure racing. When you're not racing, you're driving around looking for races, running from police, or simply cruising, whatever you want to do. Everything else is what you would expect. A massive, beautiful city, day/night cycles, plenty of realistic traffic and pedestrians, miles of freeway, etc. It's as awesome as it sounds.

The car customization is another feature worth noting because it is very deep. You'll spend hours hooking your car up with almost every kind of modification you can think of.

Personally, my only complaint is that you can't customize your character's look. This is a Rockstar game, however, so that was expected. It would have been quite easy to include an option for some other skins, female ones, etc., so everyone can choose the driver that suits them best. The protagonist in this game is just a driver. There's no real storyline.

I own many games for the 360, but if I could only own 2, they would be MCLA:CE and Fallout 3 GOTY. These are games with insane amounts of content, where the acheivement points earn themselves.

The fact that this is the Complete Edition with South Central and the other DLC make it the obvious choice for anyone wondering what game to buy. MCLA:CE is the greatest racing game ever.
