A drawback is that you can't play afranchise mode like on Madden 2000, and this is a must now for die-hardfootball gamers.NFL 2K is better than Madden 2000 despite having lessfeatures because it simply feels more real.In Madden 2000, use theinstant replay on pass receptions to see just how comical it looks when apass just drops into a receiver's body without his hands moving, or hiseyes focused on the ball.It looks as though you will not find this typeof blocky and sometimes unrealistic gameplay on the Dreamcast. On NFL 2K,instant replays reveal true one-handed catches, balls going right through areceiver's outstretched hands, and other types of situations that lookreal.The running game in NFL 2K could use a little improvement, butoverall this game is just pure fun and reality for anyone who enjoysplaying football video games.
