(More customer reviews)When Twisted metal 1 came out, I had never seen a game where you blow other cars up. I played this game for a long time awaiting the next great version.#2 was great with huge levels, and fast action. Again, awaiting 3 with great expectations.I bought 3 the day it came out.Upon playing 3 forthe first time, it didn't even play like twisted metal. I had hoped that itwould get better, but it just kept getting worse! All the fast action wasgone, the levels were too small.I hardly played #3 within 2 weeks ofpurchase. Instead, I played Vigilante 8. Heard Twisted 4, was indevelopment-I didn't even get excited due to #3. Of course being me, Ibought #4 the day it debuted not knowing what to expect.From the secondthat I played it I knew that IT WAS THE BEST ONE!The cars now havereflections on them, & the explosions are tremendous.There's alwaysfire on the screen somewhere,not to mention how much weapons are nowavailable.Everywhere you look now weapons are laying around.The leveldesigns are really good & they're huge. I've played thru the levelsmany, many times now & haven't found all secret paths.There are morecharacters than any other Twisted Metal,& more levels.Also,eightdeath-match only levels.These levels look like something off Tron.Thechallenge of the game isnt too hard nor easy.The create a car mode isreally cool.You can pick body style,paint job,special weapon,& thescream when you die.Now you can save all your cars that you create,&the poeple you beat the game with-allowing you to watch their endings atanytime.The memory card option is the best thing that could have everhappened.I can't say that the endings are any better than #3, but all inall this is the best Twisted Metal YET! Get it as soon as possible.
