(More customer reviews)Maybe I'm behind the times and this is a pale imitation of Doom and Quake and other first-person shooters, but I absolutely love this game and have been playing it for many hours ever since I bought it a few weeks back. The storyline has you facing off with evil Nazis and their experiments with the occult--zombies, super soldiers, etc., etc. Along the way, you get to infiltrate the catacombs under an African desert, break your way out of Castle Wolfenstein and escape via a cable car (right out of Where Eagles Dare), and break into a top secret testing facility, where you must stop a V2 rocket launch, destroy a radar prototype, and steal an experimental jet aircraft. I've played Halo and Splinter Cell, but Castle Wolfenstein keeps me coming back in a way neither of those games has. The graphics are great and the sound effects are well-realized, and the array of weaponry and tactics you must utilize to defeat your enemies is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this game to any Xbox owner.
