(More customer reviews)Heartwild Solitaire Book Two is a very elegantly designed game with beautiful detailed backgrounds and cards.The premise of the game is that a story of romance and intrigue is happening as a lover's triangle is formed between two women and a male artist, and depending on how you play the solitaire boards, the story has different paths.If you don't care for romance stories,it doesn't really matter since the card game itself is very entertaining and just-challenging enough to give you something extra to play for without being too difficult to complete. ( and you can skip over the "Story" part of the game if you don't want to read it ).The type of solitaire is high-low, you turn over the base card and clear the table by selecting cards to remove from the table that are higher or lower in value than the base card.Your goal is to clear the table of all cards. If your base card is a 7 ( regardless of suit ) you can clear a "6" card or "8" card from the table, and then "that" card you cleared becomes the base card from you which you have to base your next selection to clear off the table.There is strategy involved, and there are bonuses for clearing multiple cards of the same suit or for making "straights" by clearing strings of cards of rising value ( 2, 3 , 4, or Jack, Queen, King..etc..).Also, after completing several tables in a row, you will get a special bonus round that plays and scores differently.
The overall gameplay is very attractive, it's fun , relaxing and beautiful to look at, a nice distraction when you need something to help you unwind. And with 280 levels, there is a lot of gameplay in this. I like solitaire games, and this is one of the better solitaire games available.
I downloaded this game and encountered no problems with it.The game plays on Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, requires at least 512 megabytes of memory ( or 1/2 gigabyte ), at least a 750 mhz processor and direct-x 9 or better.This game will run very well on most Windows computers. You can check to see if your system meets the rquirements by right-clicking on the"My Computer" icon on your desktop and selecting "properties".
