(More customer reviews)This is a classic, the best software/game I know of for little kids. Reading skills aren't necessary -- provided the child can use a mouse or trackpad to point and click, s/he'll have weeks or months of fun with this. This game has been around for a while, and the graphics aren't up to modern standards, but they still capture the spirit of Dr. Seuss's drawings perfectly. The creators did the impossible and extrapolated from the contents of the book to add a huge amount of new content, which matches perfectly and is just as silly and hilarious as Seuss's original work.

We've had this since 1996 or so, and both of my kids grew up with it. Many of the jokes and songs in this have become part of my family's store of in-jokes, just as with any treasured children's book. I can't think of a higher recommendation.

Fisher Price: Little People Discovery Games 3 Disk Compilation Review

(More customer reviews)I really can't say enough good things about this computer program.The one problem is that you have to find things to do while they are doing this game all by themselves. Imagine that you can actually get stuff done.My son has watched me on the computer since day one.I finally decided to get him his own game.I figured I would be stuck sitting with him at the computer.this is not the case.He just turned three and he asked," can I tr?".Well that was it.He can move the mouse and to do games on the cd he know to ask me to change to another cd.the activities can grow with him in difficulty.He actually played the airport game for an hour.He changed between the different activites himself.They are very kid friendly. Also the giggles that come from the computer room are worth it alone.He really seems to enjoy it and he is learning while he is laughing.I stongly suggest this cd rom.I plan to purchase it for all my nieces and nephews for the holidays.Enjoy!!

Ready for School Toddler Review

(More customer reviews)The game is perfect for 2-3 year olds to be successful using the computer. The characters are all the little people in the sets many of them play with daily. There are several elements to the game that they can explore. My preschool class loves the game. I can set up the computer area, and then allow them to play the game alone successfully as I do small groups. Great addition to our classroom.

(More customer reviews)Like all the "Blue's Clues" software products, this is a beautifully made, thoughtful program that teaches kids the fundamentals of learning. The best thing about this program is that it presents information in a way that younger kids understand and can enjoy, so that they don't get frustrated by their lack of success or progress. I've seen a lot of kids' CD-ROMs, and this is one of the best I've come across recently. You won't be disappointed; Blue is so adorable! The only bad thing is that you can't click out of Steve's song at the end.... You get pretty sick of hearing it if you play the game enough. But that's my only complaint. Great product.

(More customer reviews)I don't understand why adults would roll their eyes over this game and this is coming from a 22 year old. I bought this game for my sister years ago when it was the board game and we both loved it and the CD rom version is even better than the board game. I let my babysitting charges play with it and they love it. The graphics are beautiful and yummy looking with all those candy and sweet flavoured characters and the game is a great learning tool for helping kids get used to numbers and counting, colours and matching and so forth, as well as challenging their thinking and comprehension skills at a level very simple and suitable for their age. It may in some shape or form also inspire their creativity and imagination at an early age. The CD rom version is so awesome and even better with the graphics and the voices and everything, and I'm sure parents and caregivers of this generation would find this CD-rom great, even better than the board game itself like we grew up on.

Ni Hao, Kai-Lan: Super Game Day Review

(More customer reviews)The first game we got for our daughter (a few months shy of 3 years) was Dora and the Snow Princess, which was good, but required a bit more skill than she currently had....so there was quite a bit of her handing us the remote in order for us to complete the movement/task.After reading reviews for Ni Hao super Game Day, we got it for her at Christmas (just turned 3 beginning of december) and it's just fantastic!Each short game is a different concept that simply requires her to move like shown on the screen.The Characters automatically move and complete the task.We use the two player mode and play a long and model the movements and we all have fun.It really is geared for the young pre-school set and I hope 2K games come out with more great games for this age range.Oh, and we have gotten back to playing Dora (also by 2K), and while my daughter has gotten a bit more skilled at it, she still needs a bit more development before that game (which is a great one probably for 3 1/2 to 4 year olds) becomes her favorite.All in all, don't hesitate to order NiHao Kai Lan!
