About a MILLION times better than Pokemon.And you won't get tired of iteither.Only one flaw... There is no Mega Level Digimon. (BesidesHerculesKabuterimon, but he's listed as an ultimate and even the Game'sGuide doesn't tell you how to get H-Kabuterimon.)If you're hoping it'slike the T.V. series...Don't hope... It's noting like it.But Its stillawesome.If you like Digimon and own Play Station, BUY THIS GAME RIGHTNOW!Plus, I implore (strongly encourage) you to also buy the Game guide. I will help you a LOT!I read some reviews and saw that this would be apretty cool game, but when I first played it, it blew me away! WOW!

Futurama Review

(More customer reviews)Futurama, the game, stays true to the Futurama television show that's currently showing on Cartoon Network. The playable characters include Fry, Bender, Leela, and the infamous Dr. Zoidberg.

Futurama's controls are very simplistic and easy to learn, but most of the time when you jump, it doesn't seem quite as natural as in other games. The camera is also a nuisance. The camera moves with the character, but it sometimes doesn't move fast enough, causing you to die in some cases. The game can be addicting and even sometimes, frustrating. Each character has his or her own unique moves that keeps the game fresh and adds variety. There are 22 levels total and you'll be amazed how fast the levels go by.

The story is fantastic and the hilarity is there. There is 30 minutes of cinematics and ALL the voice actors from the TV show are back. The plot synopsis is that Mom has taken over Planet Express and she now owns 50% of the Earth, which makes her the supreme ruler. The planet express crew must stop Mom before it's too late.

The graphics are excellent, and the characters look remarkably alike from the TV show. The backgrounds are great and look exactly like they did on the show. Futurama fans will love running through the rooms and streets from the Futurama universe. The only problem is with Leela. Her hair color is a little different than before.

I absolutely loved the sound in this game. The sound in the game fits all the levels nicely. There's also remixs of the opening theme of Futurama which are always great. Like I said before, all the voice actors have returned. During the gameplay the characters will say a funny comment that relates to what you are doing, which adds to the comedic value.

The game doesn't have a very good replayability. Once you play a level, most of the time you don't want to play it again. The only reason to replay is that their are Nibblers scattered all throughout the levels that you need to collect. If you get all of them in that level, then you get extras, which include, music, cutscenes, and pictures.

To all Futurama fans this should be no question, YOU SHOULD OWN THIS GAME. For people that aren't as big of a fan, or never even hear of it (shame!), you should probably rent it or wait for the price to go down.

Thrillville Review

(More customer reviews)Many theme park games have came out in the past years, but none of them have been up to par (In my opinion...) with the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" series. Before I bought this game, I read about it. One of the things that caught my attention was that you could talk to the guests. "That sounds cool.", I thought. So, I ordered it and when it came to my house and I stuck it in my PS2, I was pretty impressed! Not only do you get to build rides, but you can do SO much more.

-Build CollerCoasters from scratch or build a "pre-made" one. (Simillar to "Roller Coaster Tycoon".) Although, your Roller Coasters do not have to be realistic at all. You don't need lift hills and you don't have to make sure the ride won't fly off the track if it goes to fast because, well it won't. It's completely non-violent.
-Build game stalls, which YOU can play yourself to earn extra money for your park. You can also play these games with the guests, OR you can play them in Multi-Player mode with your friends.
-Talk to the guests! You can ask about your park, what needs to be improved, what they like about it. You can also just chat with them about different things and build your relationship. (After you build your relationship with a person, you can also flirt with them. Which is sort of weird, but entertaining.) You can also play match-maker with the guests. The whole point of this is so that the "teenagers" are happier, come to your park more, spend more money, etc.

Overall, this a fun game, which isn't TOO challenging. There's stuff you keep you busy -like playing at the game stalls- while your waiting for some extra cash to roll in. But it shouldn't be too hard to make money, as playing games earns you some dough, and you'll be doing a lot of that. Kids over 10 will probably enjoy it, because it DOES deal with money, the amount of energy needed for a ride, that sort of thing. (And it DOES have flirting, as I mentioned before.) Kids under 10 might have a problem with all the money managment. But if they can play Roller Coaster Tycoon, then they can definatly play this.

Bottom line, this is a great game for anyone who enjoys games like the Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and mini games.

Goblin Commander: Unleash the Horde for PlayStation 2 Review

The worst of them is the inherent low resolution of the television set, which means you just can't see much detail when the camera is pulled back. The game is also completely lacking in bells and whistles -- no single player skirmish maps, very basic music, and a silly linear storyline. With all that understood, this is not just the best console RTS, but the most innovative RTS on any platform to come along since Dungeon Keeper (a game that it clearly draws on; GC is almost a cross between DK and Warcraft), and probably the most innovative game of any kind since Grand Theft Auto 3. The major ingredients are: A, the great control interface, and B. the ability to direct-control units, which is seamlessly integreted into the gameplay as a strategic element. If you are an RTS fan, its almost worth buying a console just to play this game; if you are a console-only player, my goodness, are you in for a treat -- good RTS games were formerly the exclusive domain of the PC. You'll find out what you've been missing, and then some. (RTS, by the way, means real-time strategy -- do a web search for details).

(More customer reviews)The original version was an awesome game, but this one takes the cake. The few upgrades that are in this version make it well worth 20 bucks. There is more than 20 new cars, a new city, and more songs added to the radio. Even if you already own the original version this is still a must buy and if you dont have the original and you are a fan of driving games then this is STILL a must buy. The best thing about this new version is that you dont have to restart your old saved game file. If I could rate this game 1 to 5 I would give it a 20. This game is hours of fun for any racing game fan. Sure this game isnt very realistic, but that element makes it more fun. For anyone that owns a PS2 this is a must have game.
