The best way I can describe Battle Realms is like a game of chess where both players are moving pieces at the same time. You must be able to counter what units your opponent is using and at the same time try to get a leg up on the opposition by using Units, Battle Gear (magic that is bought in buildings) and Terrain.
The game is graphically stunning, the sound is superb, and the gameplay is unbelieveably addictive. Multiplayer is where the game really shines. I have spent countless hours playing and learning each clans(there are 4) intricate strengths and weaknesses.
With 12 new units being added to the expansion pack AND the fact that new players will be able to pick up both original and the expansion pack in one bundle for [$$] You owe it to yourself to try out this deep, highly entertaining RTS game.
