(More customer reviews)I gave this controller a 4 out of 5 stars because I haven't had a problem with it, but then again I only use it for my ps2.

As far a using it for the ps2 system it works excellent and you probably wont find anything better. The control handle is a bit thicker than the normal ps2 controller and gives it a more steady feel in the hands. You may not really notice it much if at all but the feeling of it will feel much better than other ps2 controllers.

Another great feature on this controller is the option of switching the joystick tops, or grips from the standard round ps2 style to the concave type the microsoft did with there controllers. I prefer the concave style so my thumbs are sitting nice and steady of the joysticks instead of constantly adjusting them to the round tops but that is just me.

The D-pad on the alienware controller here is much better than standard ps2 controllers or even some other off brand company controller because instead of the d-pad being 4 individual buttons that can be irritating to use, if you were to use them, is just a single pad that tilts but contains the outlines of the original so its like the standard controller but not. This may not be a serious deal to most people but if you were playing old playstation games on your ps2 like I tend to do than this controller would work wonders for you.

I haven't done much of computer game playing with this controller but from what I did use this controller for I can tell you that it is much better at just being a ps2 controller than a pc controller. It can't just be plugged into the computer and be used and depending on the game it might not even work. The usb connector was pretty unstable and shook loose from the port a few times for me. I don't really know if it was just me or not but I didn't really have much luck with this on the pc but if your looking for a new ps2 controller than this would be a good way to go.

Now for all that your getting this is a pretty decent controller for just around $25 and it comes in 4 colors. I personally got the blue and I really didn't want it cause, not to say the blue it bad, the blue lights just irritate me but thats just me. Of my personally opinion the black or green ones would be nice for anyone but that is just me. Hope I was able to help some people here with this review.

Every button is functional, they feel good to press, and the D-pad axes appear unbiased and are responsive. And by far the most important for me is that the controller doesn't clash with my programs' functions. I play classic games, and I program computer games, so I had been wanting a good usb controller for test purposes for a long time. The only problem I had was that other controllers would somehow manage to slow down my games, even after they were disconnected. -None of that happened here. All I needed to do was plug it in and I was good to go. And the fact that the face buttons were labeled makes programming all the more easier.

Even if all you want to do is play old Nes Games, for such a cheap price you should not pass this controller up. Don't trust those terrible Retrolink recreations. Get this controller instead.

Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad Review

(More customer reviews)This controller is better than Logitech's Dual Action USB, even if you ignore the added vibration feature.The area under the four main buttons has been hollowed out, making it easier to hit them, and all the buttons have a slightly higher-quality feel.

The biggest improvement is in the D-Pad.The D-Pad of the dual action is terrible, which makes it unusable for many types of games.For example, it is impossible to reliably use even simple fighting game moves such as SubZero's freeze or Ken/Ryu's fireball.The Rumblepad's D-pad, however, is much improved, plus it has a useful button that swaps the D-Pad and the left analog stick in case your game doesn't recognize the D-Pad (some don't).The D-Pad feels a little strange, and it doesn't quite reach the quality of the D-Pads on Nintendo or Sony products, but it does the job.

I have this pad, a Logitech Dual Action, and a Saitek P880, and I recommend this pad as the best of the three (unless you need six thumb buttons or a shift button, in which case Saitek is still a good choice, with or without vibration).
