(More customer reviews)Although graphically ancient compared to the games nowadays, when this game came out 3 years ago...WOW.It has the feel of the old style 2-Dimensional arcade games.Besides running around and hacking thingsup..which is cool and all...you get to do a variety of exploring.Newabilities granted to you in the game(Changing into a bat or mist)allowfor hours of exploration to previously unattainable areas.The storylineis compelling and the gameplay is fun for anyone.There are a variety ofweapons, spells and powerups that contribute to the lasting effect of thegame.The computer generated movies are still well done eventoday...although parents may want to be cautioned at some of the violencedepicted in them.For any lover of the vampire genre..this game is anepic!

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Review

(More customer reviews)Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is the sequel to the currently Japan-only Persona 2: Innocent Sin (and the earlier Revelations: Persona). My biggest gripe with the game is that constant references are made to the world of Innocent Sin -- however, by watching the included trailer and through the events of Eternal Punishment, you'll get a good idea of what happened in the earlier game.
With a somewhat contemporary setting, Eternal Punishment is an oddball in the world of RPGs. That doesn't mean, however, that it's bad! On the contrary, it's a superb game with deep gameplay. In battles, you can kill the demons, like in ordinary RPGs, or you can negotiate with them for money/items/information/tarot cards (the last of which is used to summon more Personae, facets of the user's personality which can be summoned to fight for them).
The characters are interesting and more adult than your typical spiky-haired teen heroes. They range from reporter Maya and policeman Katsuya to computer hacker/wiretapper Baofu and fashion model Ellen (from the first Persona). The innovative rumor system allows you to change the face of Sumaru City by spreading rumors. Want to buy weapons at your local bar? Spread the rumor that they are, and you can get a gun along with your martini.
My only other gripe, and it's small, is with the localization. Some of the text is a little stilted (Ulala's "The goodness of a woman isn't in her bra!" is a prime example). But considering the vast amount of text in this game -- and I mean VAST -- it's a very good localization overall, and in no way hinders your enjoyment of the game.
Atlus has hinted that they may release Innocent Sin if Eternal Punishment does well enough. If it's even half as good as its sequel, RPG fans around the world should rejoice.

Its plot is different from most games as there are no badguys, bosses, fighting, or racing. It might sound pretty stupid as the plotmainly states farming, but there's much more that that. For instance,there's a whole world you can explore where you can buy animals, growcrops, and even make a girls love you by giving her things. You can getmarried from a variety of 5 girls or 10 girls in the PSX version. You caneven settle down and have up to three children in the PSX. The is muchmore, so much more the list would go on forever. To simply state it, the isthe best game in the history of Video game production. So I will ask you,Anybody who has a N64 or Play Station should deffinatly get this game as itnever gets boring. It's great fun for anyone and everyone. My dad has hisown file and loves it. The play station version should be much better theN64 version but the N64 version is still an out of this world Boo yahtotally incredible sweetness game. This game is simply about onething...life. By far the best game and also, I would rate it way higherthan 5 stars but I can't! IT'S THE BEST!

(More customer reviews)This game started out on newgrounds.com as a popular flash game with a cute yellow alien being shot down and crash landing right into the FBI headquarters. He's gotta shoot his way through enemies to get his ship back. Weapon of choice is an upgradable lazer gun, but you can also slice enemies in half at close range, ride on their backs and bite their heads off, carry or throw themk, even burrow in the ground for a suprise attack. You can also drive many vehicles now and you get to fly the ufo at vertain points in the game where it is presented in a birds eye view. Do not confuse this game with it's flash counterpart...everything has been completely redone. Not one single thing has been recycled. New 2 player mode and 1-4 player mini PDA games will keep you busy for hours. You can even make your own PDA levels. In the world of 3D gaming, this release is a breath of fresh air: all 2D hand drawn stylized animation that looks great!

Clive Barker Undying Review

Despite the now dated graphics, it is still a far better game than the newer Clive Barkers "Jericho".
Although both games share a few familiar elements, like the main character being able to use magic and also having some skill with conventional weapons.
This is a seriously under-rated game and should not be overlooked by anyone who wants to try something new and get freaked out at the same time.
I highly recommend this to both survival horror fans and FPS shooter fans alike.
The only downside is that some people may have trouble running this on some newer PC systems.

This is a great deal,I paid more for just for Jewel Quest and
Crazy Machines when they came out.My kids (13 and 10)
like a lot of these games,
although we have not played them all.

I was able to load these onto my netbook and then play them without the cd.
(You need an external cd player to load them, but then they will play on the netbook without the cd player hooked up)
