(More customer reviews)This newest game of SPY Fox's is really great.Poodles Galore is destroying the ozone layer so that everyone will buy her newest sunscreen.SPY Fox saves the day, after solving many puzzles.It's for older kids than the other SPY Fox games, but I don't know why.There's also a weird but neat soundtrack of eleven songs that can be played inside the bowling alley on the jukebox in the game, or on a CD player in the real world.This game teaches kids thinking and problem solving skills, but is also lots of fun to play.If you liked this game, try Freddi Fish, Putt-Putt, Pajama Sam, and other SPY Fox games ("Dry Cereal" and "Some Assembly Required").

(More customer reviews)As a grandparent, I wanted to expose my granddaughter to computer games that would challenge their mind, make them think and leave them with life-long life lessons that would help shape their personality. I think the Pajama Sam and Feddie the Fish games are incredibly ingenious. Realistically, these games are better suited for children nearing five or over, as the games require cognizant skills that most children do not possess until that age. These games make them think creatively to solve problems, and in every version of these games, Pajama Sam and Freddie the Fish have to help others along the way to get to their goals. These games are a much better experience for the child if an adult plays with them to help them figure out the challenges presented during the game. Otherwise, these challenges can become overwhelming for a child, and the child, (and for that matter adults too,) can become frustrated and give up. One of the great life lessons..don't give up..keep trying..and try something different if what you are doing doesn't work. My granddaughter and I have spent hours playing these games, and she is totally addicted. The rewards for figuring out the different things that need to get done to finish the game are tremendous, and are huge self-esteem and confidence builders for the child. And, should you get absolutely stuck and can't seem to move onward through the game, there is help. In all Windows versions except Vista, simply press F1 anytime during the game to take you to a help menu that will give you clues on how to proceed. Also, let's say you've played for awhile and want to quit. By clicking on the computer icon either at the bottom right or bottom left of your screen, you'll be able to save the spot where you left the game, so that the next time that you play, you can pick up from where you left off. Extremely clever, and well-done games for both children and adults.

(More customer reviews)This game, as are all of the Pajama Sam games, is great!It is humorous, educational and entertaining.The puzzels are a little harder than thefirst two games, but not beyond the suggested age range for the game.Bothof my kids (10 and 5) loved it.
In this game Pajama Sam has to help thepeace delegates of the food pyramid get to the peace summit.The healthyfoods and sweet foods can't seem to get along together.Some of thedelegates are stuck in various predicaments and Sam has to rescue them. Sam's off-the-wall humor is as snappy as ever.
I have to admit, I alsoenjoyed this game and often wonder why adult games aren't this fun.Ihighly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)First things first: the suggested age range for all Freddi Fish games (3-8)is very misleading, no matter how smart you think that your 4 y.o. is. Everybody thinks that their very bright 4 y.o. should be able to enjoy the game- and if they don't, it's a problem with the game.The fact is that it takes until 5 / early 6 for both the spatial concepts & (esp.) the level of perserverence needed to get developed enough to enjoy the game. And then they enjoy it hugely.Our girls (now turning 6 & 7) enjoyed this Freddi hugely, as they have the others.

Despite the fact that I'm 14 now, I still remember all the awesome times I had playing these games. This is one of the ones I remember most.
I remember how fun it was figuring where the stuff was in time, and I really loved changing his color at one point. These games should sharpen your kids, thinking and puzzle solving skills. I wish I would not have given this game to my younger cousin, just for the "nostalgia". If your kid is aged 3-8, I would highly recommend this game. :) And this comes from a 14 yr old.

Pajama Sam Life is Rough for PC Review

It does have the same sort of "find this, then that to fix the thing", but it's not as good as PJ Sam's previous adventures. Each time it's played, it's the same, no randomness. Sam's voice is different this time and the character is not as well done. The game seems to work better under WinXP than previous PJ Sam adventures that were Win9x/ME vintage.
