It saves you from having to leave the PS3 on while charging the Move controller and/or the move navigator.This unit will charge either the controller or the navigator.I have put both of my move controllers in the unit at the same time and both are fully charged.So unlike the picture on the package, you CAN put two move controllers (the one with the bulb on top) into this unit and both move controllers will charge fully.
