(More customer reviews)It really improves reception of a Wi-fi signal significantly. This device helps a lot while traveling - at airports and hotels. But there are two complaints I have about it. First, why manufacturer claims contradictory nonsense in two places of a description of this product?
At the very top of this page, it says "Improving 6X Signal Reception and 3x Speed", then below, in Product Description, they say:

* 200% Performance
* 200% Distance
Wow, so they expect us to believe that both 6 times and 3 times equals 200 percent? Shame on you, whoever wrote that nonsense.

In reality, one can expect some 50% or so improvement in reception, over using a built in average laptop wireless adapter, which is pretty good, in my opinion.

Also, at the time of this writing, there's no driver for Windows 7 available for this device. Existing driver works fine in Windows XP and Vista, but not in Windows 7. I hope this will be resolved by Realtek in the near future. (I'm not mistaken, Realtek is the manufacturer of the chip, upon which this adapter is based).

UPDATE: Died completely after some 6 months of moderate use. Not recognized by any system when plugged into a USB Port, no light, dead completely. What a shame.
