(More customer reviews)This is a great game out of the box.In fact it is surprisingly good.Initially targeted for children, the game mechanics are good enough to interest adults.It is essentially Starfleet Command with sails.If you play(ed) SFC you will enjoy Battle at Procyon.
For those of you not familiar with the SFC combat model used in this game here is a summary.You control 18th Century style ships (think Pirates of the Caribbean style galleons and frigates) in space.The sea is replaced by the cold vacuum of space.You manage your fleet in real-time using traditional naval tactics to destroy your enemy.
