(More customer reviews)If you liked the original Homeworld you'll like 2. For a sequel the project team did a pretty good job at staying true to what made the original game so successful while adding advancements in technology and task-mastering. For me HW 2 is a little more difficult than I remember Homeworld being but I attribute that to a lack of playing time (yes, work is a 4 letter word) and an advancing case of alzheimers (old timers) disease. I think the graphics are above average but certainly don't stress the nVidea 6800 series cards. Of course I haven't gotten very far into the game yet and that could change if they start throwing a ton of adversaries at me but I'm feeling pretty confident. In many ways I think it's safe to say that I'm most pleased, not so much by what is new but, by what worked the 1st time & how 2 feels the same. For someonw who normally likes shooters I really enjoy Homeworld (2) maybe cause it isn't.
