(More customer reviews)....since the Holiday Stuff pack came out, which includes the same plus even more holiday items, you'd be better off buying the regular Sims 2 base game and the Holiday Stuff pack rather than this.

However, if you don't want to spend the extra cash for the Holiday stuff pack and would be happy with only two-thirds the amount of holiday objects, then this would be the way to go to save some money.

Either way, the Sims 2 is SIMply awesome and well worth the money!!Just be sure your computer meets the game's system requirements before buying it, as it is highly 3-D graphics and memory intensive.

I've been playing Sims 2 for almost a year now and this is one game that you can really never tire of.Maxis is always coming out with new stuff add-ons and expansions to keep it interesting.I have all of the expansions and add-ons out so far and plan on getting all future releases, too.It's that fun!!!

Delicious: Emily's Holiday Season Review

(More customer reviews)I downloaded this game tonight for a 30 min. preview. The game idea is cute, you go to a lodge to get ready for your parent's party, end up getting hired by the owner, and are put in charge of the lobby. You serve food, get the mail, process check in and check outs, and bus tables. But between all that, you have to deal with people coming in to talk about your parents, greet your folks friends, deal with your sister and seating cards, chase spiders, etc. It was kind of frustrating because just when you'd get into the groove of serving and cleaning tables you'd have to stop and talk to someone that didn't really make any difference to the game. I stopped even reading the dialogue and just clicked like mad to get past all the talking. Now, maybe this is just to get you to want to play beyond 30 min, and after that it cools off, but it made me not want to pay the very cheap price for this game because I found the schmoozing annoying. I am an experienced computer game food server and it was challenging to keep everyone served once the dinner party got going, (it starts very slowly) but in good conscience I can't say it's a great game. Try it for the 30 min trial and see if you like it.
