(More customer reviews)So this controller looked pretty sweet to me so I bought it over a rumble pad. I liked the idea of fans for wicking away sweat, as I tend to get pretty white knuckled on my controllers. I bought this controller specifically for Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PC, and it works like a dream. I also like the X-Box controller layout (offset anolog sticks and more ergonomic) than the PS2 style controller that is the Logitech Rumble pad. It also has better grips than a PS2 controller.

The only things I think are bad about it are the following:
1. It is not modeled on the large XBox controller, but rather the regular one, which is ok for most people, but I have big hands and I get a bit cramped up if I play for way too long.
2. I was slightly dissapointed with the lack of custimization software available with this pad. I have a Saitek Cyborg EVO joystick that you can create custom profiles for every game you want to use it with then set that profile before launching the game. This isn't an issue with Battlefront 2 since it has a very excellent in game control configurator, but I could see where if a game didn't have as good an interface (or maybe older games) this pad could suffer in this regard.
3. This isn't so much an issue for me, but I would assume that with a lot of game play and turning on and off of the fan, that the fan motor will likely die sooner than the pad will wear out. I don't care too much, because the fan is more a novelty to me than anything. I will still use it even if it does die.

Overall, a great controller, I actually would give it a 4.5 rating, but that isn't an option here.

(More customer reviews)WOW this game is fantastic!The gameplay is wonderful and videos pull you into the storyline.It took me a bit to get use to the flight stick but OMG its a must have for this game.save your money and get this bundle, also came with a cool face for the 360.if you love to Ace Combat series i strongly recomend this one.The missions get really hard at times since there are sub missions and you will have to go back and re-fuel and ammo up.you can face up to 300 units on one mission.The online blew my mind, its so much fun.This game is the best so far for the Ace Combat series,I only hope Microsoft will release more games that i can use the stick on (Mech warrior, X Wing...)

(More customer reviews)I bought the Cideko air remote to use my Dell Zino media PC connect to my HDTV (typing the review now, while burning a movie to my hd collection).The size of the remote is good.It's a bit larger than a deck of cards and easy to get used to, like my LG ENV3 phone.There are hot keys for surfing the web, email, my computer, search, calculator.The cool feature, in theory, is the pointing aspect.You use the remote and point with it to move around your computer, web etc.In reality, however, the HD settings make each hyperlink small and the movement of the pointing device just isn't that accurate.I sometime, quite often, find myself pointing the keyboard remote perpendicular to the tv just to get to some of the web or pc actions.It works, but just ok.If I had to do it again, it would get a trackball remote (Lenovo just came out with one) or a touchpad to move the mouse cursor.

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 Review

(More customer reviews)I've been a pilot for over 40 years and have flown everything from '20s biplanes to Navy carrier jets...and this sim is awesome.

Note: it is on DVD not CD as stated here. And it is NOT a game. There is a significant learning curve involved to successfully fly these aircraft in full-on realistic mode. It does have 'simple' modes that make it possible for anyone to fly, but don't think of this as an arcade game in any sense.

Trust me, if you can fly these birds in full realism mode, with a little time flying under the supervision of an instructor you can fly the real thing. Here there are fewer cues (just sight and sound), but in real aircraft you also have so-called proprioceptive sensations too (the seat of your pants, for one), among others.

Buy it, you'll like it! The graphics are gorgeous, the scenarios are amazing. You won't find modern airliners, but you'll find most of the WW2 machines (Russian, German, Japanese, British and American).

A flight over the cliffs of dover at sunset in a Spitfire may bring tears to your eyes...it did me.
