Assassin's Creed 2 Master Assassin Edition (Limited Edition) PS3 Review

Assassin's Creed 2 Master Assassin Edition PS3
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Master Assassin's edition of Assassin's Creed 2 is a good addition to a gaming collection. Given the price is high, it may turn many people away from buying it. I must say this: If you are a fan of Assassin's Creed and really have a knack for Special Edition games, get this. If not, it isn't an ideal purchase.

The tin that everything is included in is very nice, but bends and warps very easily. Included in the entire set is an art book, downloadable codes for exclusive areas in-game, an exclusive DVD detailing the making of the game (also including the Assassin's Creed 2 soundtrack on the DVD),a nice detailed figurine of Ezio- the main Assassin in the game, a collector's tin, and the Assassin's Creed 2 game software.

Whilst the art book is nice, it isn't anything to write home about. It does have some nice concept art in it, but is pretty thin. Unless you are a fan, it isn't anything major. The DVD is somwhat mediocre, but does provide a nice insight into the world of Assassin's Creed and how the team created it. The included soundtrack from Assassin's Creed 2 (included ON the DVD, not seperate from it) is a beatiful addition. Music in this game sounds great and makes the collector's edition nice to have just to listen to the songs from the game. Ezio's figurine is beautifully detailed and looks great, and is resting on a circle base so it is able to be stood up. The exclusive in-game content is fun, but goes by extremely fast, so isn't extremely amazing and important. I recommend this "Master Assassin's Edition" only to fans of Assassin's Creed, or those who love Collector's Editions of games.

Pros:
-Included DVD has Assassin's Creed 2 soundtrack on it, which sounds beautiful.
-The Ezio figurine is extremely detailed and looks great.
-Game included is GREAT fun and will keep anybody busy for hours on end.
-Packaging looks nice and holds everything well.
-Fans will be glad to add this to their collection.

Cons:
-A little on the expensive side, not recommended unless you are a fan of Assassin's Creed or like Special Editions.
-The art book is short and somewhat mediocre, though it is nice to look at the concept art.
-Tin everything comes in is flimsy and warps easily.
-The DVD included isn't that great, other than the included soundtrack.

With me being a fan of Assassin's Creed, I suggest this to other fans of the series. I give it four and a half to five stars.

Halo Reach Review

Halo Reach
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Halo: Reach - Circa 2010GOOD:
- Tried and true (Halo) FPS experience that many other games have copied over the years.
- Great Co-op Gameplay allows up to four players to go through the entire game from start to end.
- Great graphics which look way better than that of Halo 3 and ODST; also there are a lots of new animations for the characters as well as tons of new unique enemy voice work to boot.
- Vehicle and turret shooting are the same as ever (for a Halo game); which is good; but the nice addition here is the new helicopter type of vehicle and even a small section of the game where you can control a space fighter.
-Armor Abilities really help out and give you a new edge in combat. Also you have a night vision mode which works and looks like the one from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
- Intense multiplayer versus action either by yourself on a team; the mode has plenty of different options to choose from. This is a pretty good upgraded version of the famed Halo 3 multiplayer that now has new maps, modes, abilities, and graphics for you to enjoy.
- Fire Fight mode allows up to four players to fight waves of enemies on unique maps (based on those in the campaign) using team work and skill.BAD:
- Some slight lag and slight blurring at the more intensive moments in the game (with lots of things happening all at once).
- Can't play Forge maps in Fire Fight mode.IF IT FITS YOUR TASTE:
- A Sci-Fi First Person Shooter with quick pacing and intense fire fights. Note: that unlike Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this is a sci-fi First Person Shooter and as such your guns must first break an enemy's energy shield before you can really hurt them also everyone is wearing battle armor so you'll still need lots of shots to kill an opponent. The thing to do here is make your shots count more so you will need to do overall less of them to an opponent; example use energy type guns to break an enemy's energy shield and always try to do head shots to your enemy for extra damage. Coming at an enemy guns blazing and either not using the right guns and/or not aiming well will only get you killed pretty quickly.
- Gameplay wise this plays pretty much like Halo 3 but with the life bar from Halo 3: ODST. The missions themselves are pretty fun and take the best bits from Halo 3 and ODST into new experiences.
- The campaign levels can be played by either yourself or with up to four other players cooperatively at one time on any stage.
- The Story is an overall a combat story going from mission to mission with nothing really tying into the overall Halo lore until the last chapter.
- Intense multiplayer action online through Xbox Live with matches as small as one on one and as big as 16 players (and even offline without using Xbox Live using either spilt screen, or system link). Halo Reach is set up similar to that of Halo 3 but with some new modes and all new maps. But much like Halo 3 in the sense that you're given a rank when you play multiplayer (this rank can go up or down at any time) this rank is representative of your skill and your matched with others of your skill type, that way new unskilled players and hardcore veterans will not often play against one another, unless they make a special match themselves that ignores rank.
- An all new Fire Fight mode (Fire Fight was originally in Halo 3: ODST), Fire Fight which plays similar to Hoard Mode in Gears of War 2 is a mode where either by yourself or with up to four other players cooperatively can play a stage about the size of a multiplayer stage and you fight against enemies that are found in the games story campaign levels in waves. You get points and an overall score on your performance for these stages.
- There is no Master Chief in the game as well (the famed character from Halo's 1 through 3). Instead you play an assortment of different SPARTANS who were on the planet Reach when it was attacked. As far as the overall Halo story goes, your team is made up of SPARTAN IIIs (with one SPARTAN II). SPARTAN IIIs are cheaper to produce and have a bit less overall combat ability then the famed SPARTAN IIs (Master Chief is a SPARTAN II). Luckily for your team they have been given all sorts of prototype armor and weapons normally left only for the SPARTAN II's to have (note not even the Master Chief had a chance to get this stuff yet).
- NO FLOOD, it should be noted this Halo title has no FLOOD aliens within it (if you've played Halo's 1 through 3 you'll know what I am talking about).
- Forge World works like a much upgraded version of Halo 3's Forge mode is a mode that lets you make and edit your own map and build your very own maps from the ground up but adding/placing walls, ramps, towers, ect you can add or take away any and all of the objects, weapons, vehicles, spawning points and flag zones. This is all done in real time in one huge worlds (and not separate maps like in Halo 3) and you can even invite your friends into this mode while you're making the map(s) or just goofing off.
- Theater Mode works just like in Halo 3 it is a video editor that lets you record and play back any and all matches from Campaign, Multiplayer, and Fire Fight, and even Forge World from the point of view of any player that was there in either first person or third person (you can even swap to a in a orbit-cam where the camera circles around the player) all of this in real time. You can also pause the video/action at anytime and still look around as a camera as well as well as fast forward and rewind the events as they unfold. BUT don't forget you must save your videos before you turn off the game or you will lose the ability to save those matches. Also note that while viewing these "videos" you can take a picture or record a snippet of footage at any time and save it to your Xbox 360 and have your friends check them out later on your profile.GAME IT'S MOST ASSOCATED TOO:
- Halo 3: ODST (Xbox 360)
- Halo 3 (Xbox 360)
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- There is three small cameos from characters from previous halo games, honestly the cameos are very small and are not earth shattering to the games over all story.
- Don't put down that controller once you beat the game as there is a surprise post credits.
- People who pre-ordered this game either at Amazon.com or Gamestop got a preorder code for some extra armor parts for their characters.
- The Limited edition comes with a download code for more extra armor parts for your character as well as a Halo Reach patch and a mini book with some back story on the game from the point of view of one of the stories characters.
- The Legendary edition comes with everything found in the limited edition plus even more download codes for more extra armor parts for your character (like giving you a avatar a flaming helmet much like the Bungie staff had in Halo 3's multiplayer) as well as a small figure set of the games main characters design by Todd Mcfarlane of Spawn fame.

Mass Effect Limited Edition Review

Mass Effect Limited Edition
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I loved Bioware's latest masterpiece Mass Effect.I could not help but feel the game was inspired by the works of Arthur C. Clarke, in that Mass Effect creates the same sense of awe and wonder about it's original Universe.

I was a fan of Bioware's Knights of the Old Republic games.Mass Effect is superior to those games in every sense. The gameplay is better paced, the action is better implemented.Best of all, the original Universe is a fantastic sci-fi canvas where Mass Effect can continue, and onto which Bioware can paint a great franchise.

There is an abundance of ME material on Bioware's website, as well as in the Limited Edition of the game.It has been a long, long time since a game inspired me to read all of the literature and available information that is typically superficial garbage at best. The ME Universe is so well done and thought out, I found myself engorssed in every minute detail. The extra material also greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the game, as I knew the motives behind the different alien races, the history between the races, etc.I highly recommend the Collector's Edition Strategy guide, for the exclusive Art Book as well.

With Mass Effect Bioware has created a new sci-fi universe that rivals the depth of Star Wars.Personally I found ME's world more engaging because unlike Star Wars, Earth and it's people are actors in the events that unfold.

I can't wait for another opportunity to see the Stars with Commander Shepherd.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Review

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
REGULAR BLACK OPS HAS ZOMBIES THE HARDENED EDITION COMES WITH THE 4 PREVIOUS BUT UPGRADED ZOMBIE MAPS FROM W@W!
The fact this is sold out goes to show just how popular zombies was in the previous call of duty. I got a little pre-release info on black ops zombies you ready for this.

I will update this review when I have more information on the four old zombie maps that come with the hardened edition.

Please search AskACapper on YouTube if you want to see some of my tips on how to reach high levels in the zombie modes!

It seems BO only comes with 2 new zombie maps and a 3rd game mode called Black OPs arcade which is a top down zombie shooter. You unlock this mode by looking down at the man menu at your hands while in the chair then press L1 7 R1 repeatedly and you'll break free.then walk over to a computer in the room press x and type DoA (Dead OPs Arcade) and enjoy the fun.

New maps include Keno Der Toten (Theater of the Dead) which is a 1940s era German theater much like the one inglorious bastards where they had the final shootout. It is definitely very cool looking and the new crawler zombies who when killed exploded leaving the green cloud that larger vision. These crawlers I believe will make their appearance in all the zombie maps. This map has a teleporter like some of the previous zombie maps and it looks like a good time.

Pro tip: on this first map save your money and open the door on the left as there is a submachine gun there. Do not buy the shotgun in the starting room as it will not give you the points you need to open doors and to progress to the power switch and a box.

Another new map is located in the Pentagon and it is called "Five". And in this map you play as JFK, Fidel Castro, Richard Nixon and some other random guy (I haven't taken the time to figure out who he is but a kinky some cabinet member). And their one-liners are hilarious. From what I know the Pentagon has three levels that use elevators to move to it looks super fun.

***Something new in this release is the quick revive perk which in the previous zombies did nothing when you played solo now revives you. And you can buy quick revive up to three times so basically of three lives in solo player zombies now and that is very cool.Plus when you are down you get Akimbo PaP handguns that are like canons!

Pro Tip:If your playing solo and the doctor comes to steal your gun just cook a frag and go down and you get akimbo pack-a-punched guns while you are being revived.then blast him and he dies quick.

Fire Sale puts a box in evey location for 30 seconds and the box only costs 10 points.Firesale Pack-A-Punch opens the PaP room & upgrades only cost 1000pt vs. 5000pts like normal.

New weapons I've seen one is the thunder gun and the other is the freeze ray. Now both undergone as I believe 12 shots with a two shot magazine. It basically shoots a pulse wave that takes out large amounts of zombies. But with only a two shot magazine is kind of limited. The other new gun that I've seen is the freeze Ray and what it does is turn the running zombies in the slow walkers for a short time. This linked with a teammate using the thunder gun could be very effective for killing large quantities of zombies at once.

The orignal maps are updated & somewhat harder.I believe these maps will be DLC soon.

Okay that's all I have so far I will update this as I know more. Please check out my YouTube channel just search AskACapper and support my custom button remapping petition that will help handicapped gamers.

I am Chuck Bittner the capper and I approve of this message!

Prince of Persia Limited Edition Review

Prince of Persia Limited Edition
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a great game, but paying the extra $20+ dollars for the limited edition is not worth it. I only got the limited edition when it was sold on Amazon on sale for $29.99.

The limited edition is essentially the regular version plus an extra Blu-Ray disc. This bonus disc has a "soundtrack", making of videos, art gallery, and a snippet of a help guide.

The "soundtrack" was disappointing since you can't play it from a CD player or transfer to an MP3 player. What's worse is that they are more like 2 minute background music loops. Nothing special there.

Some of the bonus videos could have been found on the UbiSoft website.

Art galleries are nice but a paper book would have been better.

The hint guide is more of an ad/preview for the printed version. And since this game is so short... do you really need it? It's also hard to read the hint guide text on the screen unless you have a really big TV screen. I'm guessing that the pages of the printed guide were just saved as JPEG's and not specially formatted for the screen.

I'd give the game itself 4 stars.

I am a big fan of FPS and this series in particular. I wasn't going to buy this one, but when Amazon marked the Limited Edition down to $29 and I had a $25 coupon credit (with 2 day free ship) I couldn't pass it up. The series is tight, and a top 5 FPS on any system. If you can't get a deal, I would wait as it is not much of an upgrade.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Review

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Alright, I'm a serious COD fan and I logged almost a month on Modern Warfare 2, and a little over a half a month on all the other COD titles. You all know what the prestige edition comes with, as it is all listed above, but is it truly worth the extra money?

It's hard to say. It certainly cool and I waited outside of my local Best Buy at 9pm before the midnight release to get in line to make sure I got a copy. The ONLY thing that comes with the prestige edition that is not included in the hardened edition is the RC-XD killstreak remote controlled car. That being the only thing different-I'll go over it a bit.

--It feels cheap and very light (not complaining, exactly what I would expect-I didn't expect a serious quality RC car).
--It takes 12 AA batteries, 6 in the remote and 6 in the car, which drain pretty fast. (especially if the camera is on)
--The car zips around pretty well but won't do well in the grass at all.
--I've played with RC cars all my life and this one is a little difficult to handle. The turns are crazy sharp with the steering dial on the right of the remote, it takes a very steady hand to carefully steer the car.
--The camera (as expected, not complaining) is very low quality and it is impossible to drive while just looking at the screen on the remote. The lens is faced upward and if you're driving it on the street or in the house you cannot see the ground to see where you're going, you see the top 2/3 of a level of a house.
--The microphone is pretty sensetive so if it is on, you'll constantly hear the gears and mechanisms from inside the car and will come through on your remote and it sounds like a cheap $5 toy car engine sound.

As far as gameplay goes, it varies, and truly, it's all depending on what COD games you like the most. I've read other reviews and I do agree with others that it feels a lot like World at War with some minor additions. The online play is not as smooth as IW's Modern Warfare 2 or even COD4.

ONLINE GAMEPLAY

I think the online gameplay takes some adjusting to after playing MW2 because MW2 was so fast paced and sometimes predictable. The spawnpoints on Black Ops from my experience have been all over the place. I very regularly find myself spawning behind people and saying "man I'd be pissed if I was that guy" and many times I AM that guy. The refresh rate is not that of MW2 and the graphics in multiplayer really suffer. I thought that with the popularity of the COD franchise that they would only stride to make each addition better than the last, but truly I think this one falls short. You buy all of your attachments with bets (or contracts) wagered, and that's actually pretty fun. It's like the same thing as challanges, but it puts a little more pressure on you because you have a time limit. Stopping power and danger close are gone, as is one man army. But because there aren't really noobtubes with one man army or people using stopping power and trailblazing, I find that there are MANY MORE campers in here, sitting back trying to achieve their higher killstreaks. Killstreaks do not count toward other killstreaks, so if I get my RC-XD remote controlled explosive car, and get 2 kills..that still doesn't mean I get my carepackage--I still have to shoot/knife/grenade someone myself. This was apparently a complaint of "the rich get richer/poor gets poorer." I personally think if people are having troubles with a game they shouldn't cry about it on blogs and complain to creators because they cannot personally do well in a video game-that's your own fault. Multiplayer in conclusion, not what I expected. I'm getting used to it, but I'm going to miss the pace of MW2 and the way you unlock attachments for weapons instead of having to buy them.

CAMPAIGN
The compaign mode is great. The graphics are MUCH better and I really wish they would have focused on making their graphics better for online play instead of stupid things like putting your clan tag on your gun and things that most people could do without. One thing I loved about World at War was the super satisfying shotgun to the legs during campaign where they blow off, and there's plenty of that here. A great assortment of weapons and plenty to do, including the use of vehicles. I really have no complaints about the campaign, it's very fun and you'll absorb it right away.

ZOMBIES
Of course zombies are great! I think they focused harder on zombies than they did multiplayer also, atleast as far as graphics go. Automated turrets and all kinds of fun stuff to do! Plus, with the prestige or hardened edition, you get the 4 original maps-which is a great value considering what I spent on WAW mappacks in the past. It's fun playing the old maps with the additions of the new guns. I loved playing on Nacht der Untoten and going upstairs and cornering myself in and lining up headshots with the new guns. Of course everyone will like nazi zombies. I personally think Treyarch should be responsible for COD-Nazi Zombies and release a Nazi Zombie based game with a campaign and everything.

Well, that's my review. conclusion- Campaign is great, multiplayer lacks in my personal opinion, zombies are great=4/5. If you're a serious collector, go for the prestige and get your RC-XD like I did and let me know what you think of it. I really hope it was helpful to somoene, please vote and let me know whether is helped you out and leave any comments or questions and I'd be happy to promptly respond. Thanks everyone!

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Review

Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As I am a huge fan of BFBC1, COD4MW and CODMW2, I will not make direct comparisons. They are all great in their own way. I will say that this game is a bigger improvement from BC1, than MW2 is from MW1...if that means anything to you.

The graphics are a less "cartoon-ish", for lack of a better word.

The controls are better IMO, but you change them back to BC1 if you'd like.

There are more upgrades/attachments available, along with a unique way to mix and match them to your liking.

Something I like a lot is the effect gravity has on snipers firing over long distances. It's the first game (that I know of) where the mil dots in the scope are needed to snipe. You will also have to lead your target, just like in BC1.

Huge maps, like BC1

Destructable buildings, tree, etc., like BC1.

Firing rifles in full auto is more realistic. In BC1 there wasn't much climb or wander when firing in full auto.

I would recommend it to any one looking for the closest simulation of warfare in a video game. It incorporates squad teamwork, vehicles, armor, airstrikes and much more. This creates an environment where the run-and-gun Rambo types, just get owned...I love it!

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition Review

I've gotten burned out on the Call of Duty series, so a co-worker recommended I pick up Battlefield: Bad Company 2.I must say, this game has exceeded my expectations in almost every way: the team play is rock solid, the "new" game style (new for me) is refreshing, and the vehicles, in my opinion, are quite possibly one of the best parts of the game (though I REALLY DO wish the developers would add some kind of portable, self-guided AA weapon, like a Stinger or Javalin missile). This has to be one of the most realistic military shooters I've played in a while.I especially like how the bullets drop due to gravity (which makes sniping a bit more challenging, yet *a lot* more gratifying when you can get that long distance head shot). There are, however, a couple of things I dislike about the game, so let me get those out of the way first, before I start some of the reasons why BF:BC2 is one of the most entertaining shooters of this year.

First off, I have no idea why the developers didn't add the ability to go prone. In real life, if someone is shooting at you, you're first reactions are probably going to be to drop to the ground to make your silhouette as small as possible.I understand how this might make "camping" a bigger issue, but there are so many things in the game that seem to discourage it (including the fact that the maps are so large), that I feel it shouldn't have been an issue.Another thing I found odd, is that unlike most games, there is no button or "action" to climb through windows. Not a huge problem, but definitely inconvenient at times (one work-around is to jump on the window sill, and then crouch to go through it, but it's tricky and takes a little practice). Finally, I wish that you could "take cover" and peek around corners (much like you can in Gears of War), though I guess that's just one of those "niceties" that are a personal preference.Anyways, on to the good parts.

Right off the bat, I think one of the many things I find appealing about BC2 (especially when compared to CoD: MW2) is how they quasi-limit what each class can equip, which I feel like prevents people from creating "super troopers" that can dominate the entire game.Speaking of which, something that used to *drive me nuts* is how it seemed like one person could win the entire match for their team (which has never made sense to me).In Battlefield BC2, it relies on (and fairly generously rewards, especially in reguards to your squad) the team players (as in, those players who perform actions that benefit the team), which is much more realistic than everyone trying to go in like some kind of Rambo-Bourne "Army of One" (just ask anyone in the military and they'll tell you that is they first thing they train you not to do).Although it requires a different mindset from most First Person Shooters (and just FYI, it definitely helps if you have a squad full of friends you can talk to, instead of some random PUG), I've seen it work on many occasions, and in my opinion, creates a much more interactive and interesting game.Secondly, the destructible buildings are a HUGE win.Although it can suck when you're trying to take cover in a building that all of a sudden comes crashing down on you, it adds another layer of realism to an already immersive environment. Finally, I *really* like how intuitive and easy they made the game for linking up with your friends in multiplayer.I would have to argue that it's one of the best interfaces I've seen lately, making it very easy to start a squad with your friends and then connect to a game together, or you can just pick up in the middle of whatever game/squad they're already in (assuming, of course, there's room).

All in all, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has definitely changed the way I think about and view what a FPS (and for that matter, a military-styled FPS) should be.I think this game has raised the bar, and hopefully set the standard, as to what is possible in a vast, multifaceted, interactive world where you almost feel like you're in the middle of a real war.I was very tempted to give this game 5 stars, but I'm pretty selective/picky when it comes to giving out "perfect scores", and feel that there were enough (very) minor issues to prevent me from doing so; however, if I could give it a 4.9, I would. If you're looking for an alternative to the repetative "run & gun" shooters that a lot of companies seem to be trying to emulate and/or imitate, I *highly* recommend you pick up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and give it a try.

Fallout New Vegas Review

Fallout New Vegas

I should state that i did not get this game through amazon, I picked it up at gamestop, that being said the collectors edition of Fallout: New Vegas is very worth the price!I have never bought a collectors edition for any game before but i just had to when i found out about NV.Everything that comes with the CE is high quality, from the graphic novel to the poker chips and playing cards. The only thing i am just a little upset about is the "making of" dvd because obsidian had basically already released it in small parts (you can look them up on the internet). The poker chips included are a nice touch and are high quality, even weighted to feel like real las vegas chips, and the playing cards are nice quality as well (though i dont think i will use them).all in all it was very worth the extra 20 dollars over the regular.I would recommend this to all fans of Fallout!

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition Review

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is an excellent game. The single player is spectacular and the multiplayer is more addicting than Call of Duty games. For anyone who has played a previous "Battlefield" title, there's a familiar formula here that has been reworked for an even better online experience. Since the majority of players will be playing online most of the time, I'll go into some detail on the multiplayer aspects. The maps are large and the gameplay is challenging. Unlike some other first person shooter games, you have to really employ some strategy and you must work as a team if you really want to win. In Bad Company 2, your team consists of squads, up to 4 people in each squad. You can create objectives for you and your squad memebers and you can "spot" enemy team members by putting them in your cross-hairs and pushing the "select" button instantly showing your entire squad where this enemy player is located (it puts a large orange triangle over their head and shows their location on your squad-mates mini map.) Bad Company 2 also has 4 awesome multiplayer modes: Conquest, Rush, Squad Rush, and Squad Deathmatch. Most everyone knows the object of a deathmatch, get your team as many kills as you can and make sure your team has more kills that the other team if you want to win. Well Battlefield 1942/1943 were both known for their"Conquest" mode and Bad Company 2 brings it back. The objective is for your team to capture and hold flag points scattered along the map, as long as you own these flag points, you and your entire team can spawn on them. In the Rush game mode, there are M-COM stations scattered throughout the map. One team defends these stations, while the other team tries to destroy the stations by either planting bombs on the stations or tearing the building down (yes, you can blow buildings apart and watch them crumble to the ground smashing any player still inside!).

Ok, now for the benefits of the "Ultimate Edition". The Ultimate Edition includes Battlefield 1943 and Onslaught mode. Battlefield 1943 is a downloadable game from the PS Store that usually costs $14.99 and it is a fun throwback that was built off of the original hit Battlefield 1942 that was released on the PC. There are only 4 maps in BF 1943 but it is still a great World War II game. The other extra is Onslaught co-op mode. The Onslaught mode is a downloadable add-on to Bad Company 2 that usually costs $9.99 at the PS Store but is now included with the Ultimate Edition. Onslaught is a co-op online game mode in which you and 3 other squad mates can take part in. It is a very fun game mode that is sure to add even more re-play time to an already addicting game.

Now for the negatives about this game... Actually, I have very few complaints about Bad Company 2. A few people have complained about getting randomly booted from online matches, I have never had this happen and I have logged over 45 hours in the multiplayer modes. I do wish that there was an option to play 4 player (or even 2 player) split-screen online. I also think that the helicopters are way too dominant. They are very hard to take down once an enemy player gets in one.

All in all, Bad Company 2 is a GREAT game! If you are looking at this game and considering it, you should buy it, or at least checkout the full professional reviews at some other websites. I downloaded the demo before the game was even out, and I knew it was going to be good. I pre-ordered it and paid $60 for it, then bought this version for the Onslaught mode and Battlefield 1943 and gave my old version to a friend so he could play online with me. This Ultimate Edition is a great value at only $40, you get the Onslaught mode free (usually an extra $10) and Battlefield 1943 (usually $15)! That's $25 worth of free content, not to mention the VIP code that comes with all new versions of Bad Company 2 giving you access to some FREE map packs.

Plants Vs. Zombies Review

Plants Vs. Zombies
Average Reviews:

This game is so addicting. You can play it so many times and still find/do new things. I love the figurine that comes with this, he is as cute as a zombie can be! The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the game is not compatible with updated 3D accelerator drivers. If you don't disable them, the game will freeze and you cannot play. If you do disable them, the game looks terrible. I really hope they get this fixed.
