If you don't you'll call my four star rating way too high.The game follows the story line of the book very closely.I hadn't read it yet before I first played, and I'm convinced I would have liked the game much better had I been able to recognize the people and places.It's a shame, because the graphics are beautiful. The minigames are closely related to the story like framing pictures and decorating a wedding cake, finding hidden objects in the silver- and gold-decorated ballroom.
It is possible to earn hints for the hidden object puzzles by clicking on the transparent letters that spell VOWS in each scene.They're easily found which makes up for some of the objects being so gosh darned hard to find.The minigames are not difficult, but aren't all that challenging either. This is a game for fans of the book.The real fun is in the player's ability to become actively involved in the world of VOWS.
My only major complaint is the characters' voices. I think they're kind of unpleasant but that might just be me.
