(More customer reviews)What makes this mahjong game stand out from all the others is the wonderful voice-acting as a very dramatic story of romance and tragedy unfolds during the game.By clearing boards of majong tiles, ( matching them, in typical majong game style).., you uncover old envelopes containing love letters written between a young woman of privilege and a young man from a lower class family.The letters are read out loud in the game by excellent voice actors who portray the depth of feeling they have for each other, it's very well done.Their difference in societal class, and ultimately a war , keeps them apart, and you follow the whole story through the letters.
If you don't care for the drama and story, the game itself is well done simply as a mahjong game.There are dozens of variations of tile layouts and 5 tile sets to choose from.Also there are various musical scores you can select. Also, you can win trophies in the game for speed and for meeting "target" goals such as clearing certain types of tiles in succession. If you don't feel like playing for a challenge you can just relax and clear the boards at your own pace, enjoying the beautiful animated Japanese backgrounds.
This game worked perfectly on my Windows XP computer.It should have no problem working on any XP , Vista or Windows 7 system.
