Gauntlet Legends Review

Gauntlet Legends

This game is one of the best games for n64. When i bought it i thought i was buying an RPG...but it turned out to be even better! The gameplay is fast and furious. And if killing everything in your path isn't good enough, there are also a lot of RPG elemnts in there. There are problems to solve, special items to collect, and you can buy stuff to upgrade your character. This game is a must!If you liked Zelda, but want a four player game, thenlook into this game...graphics arent EXCELLENT, but what graphics are? Thepoint I'm trying to get across is, buy this game!A game for thinkers, and a game for those people that just like blowing up things...or both, youcan play four player...Also, excellent replay value...after a month or soit starts to get repetitive, but i still cant pry myself away from thescreen! Invite over some friends and then it becomes really fun...i dontsee how it is, in anyway possible, that this game can get a bad review fromGamespot (the review up top) So stop reading and go BUY!

Myst Trilogy (Myst Masterpiece, Riven, Myst III - Exile) Review

Myst Trilogy

Like a complete nincompoop, I bought this thing without visiting UBI Soft's website first.DO NOT try to run Myst Masterpiece Edition on a Windows XP machine. It will make things very unstable. At least, it did for me.Fortunately, I was able to reboot using the last known good configuration, then uninstalled the miscreant software and performed a System Restore. My machine appears to be fine now.
A visit to the FAQ page on UBI Soft's support site informed me that they do not support Windows 2000 or XP for their "classic" games, nor do they have plans to do so.So why are they selling a brand new boxed set of the most popular game trilogy in the history of the world without a warning? When they say "For Windows 95 or 98", they mean ONLY Windows 95 or 98.They didn't even mention Millennium Edition, that I could see!
Practically all new computers sold in the past six months have come with Windows XP, so I'm guessing there are going to be lots of very unhappy campers, if my experience is any guide.
Need I say more?
