(More customer reviews)The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack is an excellent value for a keyboard and mouse set. A month ago I ordered 4 units for my small business. They've worked without any problems on our Macs. The software seems to function well and allows for all the additional keys and mouse buttons to be properly configured. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard and mouse set, including home users.

Keyboard Highlights:
- Ample multifunction keys
- Shock absorbing keys that are comfortable to use for extended periods of time
- Log Off, Sleep, and sound control keys
- "F Lock" key keeps it's state after rebooting

Mouse Highlights:
- Four buttons, five including wheel click
- Improved optics over older models (it doesn't dim when not in use, reducing lag)
- Comfortable size for any user and any hand

Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Good quality, software (Mac) and hardware
- Simple and functional design
- No batteries to replace or fail

Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick Review

(More customer reviews)When my father told me about he bought a new joystick for me I was wondering a Force feedback II or PRO... but it was a saytek cyborg evo..I got a little dissapointed because i wanted one of the Microsoft joysticks but when i started testing the joy in order to know if it was good or bad my first thougt was "this thing is great" it is comfortable it has enough buttons to configure almost all important functions that u use in a game like Combat flight simulator 1 2 or 3 or other combat sims the twist gives u a total control of the rudder (very important thing in this kind of games) I dont have any problems with the joy...I read some opinions here about some ppl saying that with this joystick there is a bug that make the planes go to the left I think that it is not a bug, anytime that u take off with any joystick if u r playing a realistic sim ur plane will go to the left because the propellors, This also occurs on real planes u need to move the rudder to the right in order to correct this in the take of... in few words im happy with this joystick, the only thing that I think could make this joystick better is Feedback or rumble.. I dont know exactly the expression in english but the thing that give u the sensation of holes in the runawayand turbulence in the air. Sorry about my english ppl but is not my mother language.

Plantronics GAMECOM 1 PC HEADSET ( 67003-01 ) Review

(More customer reviews)This headset has a good sound and, because they are lighter than other similar headsets and they have very soft cushioned ear pads, they are extremely comfortable to wear. I have also been extremely pleased with the quality of the sound recorded from the microphone. I've used this headset for voice-over recordings, online gaming, and talking on Skype, and I've been thrilled with the quality. I've recommended this set to numerous friends and family members because of the high quality combined with the low price. However, although this set has a good sound and records very well, this set won't last very long. I bought my headset about a year ago, and it has worked splendidly for the last year. But, today I was using it to record some audio for a project and it crapped out on me. The earphones still sound fantastic, but the microphone no longer works. However, because of the cheap price and great quality, I've decided to purchase another set. Some people have reported sound problems, which also happened to my sister. I suspect that problem might be related to the long cord. The cord on this headset is about six feet long, which is great for an extended reach, but bad because it means there's a bigger chance that you're going to roll over the cord with your chair or snag it on something and yank it off your head (I believe my sister did that, which damaged the headset). So, if you're careful you may be able to avoid that problem. In my case, the mic stopped working, so I assume that the wires in the positionable microphone have become frayed or loose. Although I'd expect that to happen over time, I do not expect that to happen in just a year. However, this headset is so cheap and the quality of the sound is so good, I'm still going to purchase another set. The bottom line with this set: Fantastic sound reproduction and recording capabilities from a cheap-as-dirt headset, but you pay for that in shortened lifespan.

Crystal clear reception from the mic on the other end based on feedback from others in-game while listening to me talk. Headset cord length more than adequate. Very comfortable ear foam - even after hours of gameplay.

Some people have reviewed this item and claim to have had trouble with this headset. Specifically, they can hear sound fine, but the mic seems not work in games but works fine in windows. This is just plain false - the same thing happened to me initially. This is a USB headset and you have to realize that most games are designed to search for your sound card or mobo's default mic as opposed to the headset's mic.The reason being, that many people like to have a separate mic only for talking but want to hear the game sound on their PC speakers. Obviously, if you are reading this, you probably want an integrated solution like I did.

Here is how to fix this: Go into Control Panel / Sounds & Audio Devices. On BOTH the Audio and Voice Tabs for the Sound Recording and Voice Recording menus, respectively, you need to UNCHECK the Microphone and Line-In boxes on the Properties tab for your sound card or mobo's onboard audio.This will force the game you are playing to then default to the next available mic which will be on your Plantronics headset, and you will be golden! By the way, I informed Plantronics of this fix because they were unable to help me (but their customer service is top notch, FYI).

Logitech Gaming Headset G330 (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)With the G330, Logitech delivers a comfortable headset with surprisingly high sound quality.I would definitely recommend this product provided you're willing the spend the cash, which is considerably high for a wired headset.

I suppose I'll discuss the comfort first since that seems to be the major marketing point for this product.This is the first set of behind-the-head headphones I have ever seen that are adjustable.It seems like an obvious addition, but a welcome one.Now even people with bigger heads (like me) can look at "one-size-fits-all" and actually believe it.For me, the major issues effecting these behind-the-ear type headsets is the tightness and sharpness where they hang on your ears.Logitech seems to have nailed down both of those flaws.The tightness is adjustable and the hook around your ear is not even noticeable.All I feel while wearing these is the foam on my ears, which is soft.In addition, the ear pieces pivot slightly to take into account different types of ears.So, without a doubt this is the most comfortable headset (or behind-the-ear headphones) I have ever worn.

Now onto usage.The cord from the headset has a control box to allow for volume control and muting.On the control box is a belt-clip for attaching to clothing.It's light enough that if it's dangling, you probably won't notice it.Down from there on the cord, you'll find a velcro strap for neatly storing the wires -- a nice touch.And finally, the output plugs.These are 2 stereo jacks with embedded, color-coated labels for each to let you know that one is for the headphones and one is for the microphone.With these jacks, you can plug them into your sound card.But, like me, you'll probably want to use the provided USB adapter.The jacks plug into the adapter and then you plug that into a USB port.Windows (I'm using Windows 7 RTM) will immediately recognize this as a sound device, so there must be some kind of sound card type logic within the USB adapter (which is why I suspect the price is so high by the way).By default Windows will make this your default sound device so you will hear all your game audio through the headphones and all the voices through your PC speakers, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted.But with some simple changes to the sound devices in windows, you can swap that around so the game audio goes through your speakers and the voices go through your headset.You will likely also need to configure whatever game software you're using to work that way as well.Both Steam and Games for Windows Live allow you to do this.Just go into settings and select the G330 sound device for voice input and output, then select your audio card for game audio (music and SFX) output.

Now, had the audio configuration never defaulted to the G330 being my default audio device, I might not have had a chance to experience the sound quality that comes out of these bad boys.I have a 5.1 surround sound system, but if I didn't, I would be glad to use these for my main gaming audio device.They really sound tremendous.I was very surprised to hear that kind of quality audio coming from these little headphones.It's a very full sound, and loud without distortion.The microphone is also top quality.I recorded my voice and played it back to hear how it sounded.It was clear and defined -- definitely better than what I'm used to with Xbox Live headsets.

About Xbox Live... my only bad point about these.There is no adapter to turn them into a mono headset for use with Xbox Live.I tried buying a cheap splitter to turn the 2 3.5mm stereo jacks into 1 2.5mm stereo jack, but the adapter was a splitter and ended up combining the signals into a choppy output.So, you definitely need some kind of special adapter.I don't know if Logitech sells it or not.

So, other than that, these are top notch.I definitely recommend.Another fine product by Logitech.
