(More customer reviews)This is an adapter cable to enable the Xbox to connect to TVs without any RCA plugs whatsoever. I initially laughed at the idea before remembering that my girlfriend has an old dust-collecting TV in her bedroom which does not feature a single RCA plug anywhere (I actually had to get hold of an old VCR and hook it up to this stupid TV in order to play my old PS One on it when she wanted to watch something ghastly on the big TV) so this adapter does have a purpose if you're wanting to play on a slightly ancient/low end/cheap TV. I give it four stars because I think it's great of Microsoft to be thinking about folks who might be forced to use old TVs (kids being made to stay at Grandma's house, people who do a lot of travelling and stay in hotels, etc) and providing a means for these people to plug the Xbox into basically ANY television, even if it's a horrible old black and white unit. Eewww...
If you have a TV featuring RCA inputs there is absolutely no benefit to be gained from buying this unit.
